Eric hasn't lied. he has had suspects about Bill for a long time and there's multiple clues throughout the show that point to this reveal. Bill's love for her is real , the problem is that it's an unhealthy, obsessive love. I think he truly believes that everything he does is to protect sookie, but he also believes he's the only one who can ever love her and protect her. It's borderline psycho lol.
@trixiedoor I agree with what you said. Bill and Sookie's relationship has many problems but im still not ready to call it doomed. I also agree with the fact Bill has no way helped their 'love' because of his secretive and possive nature im not gonna hold out much hope for them now but im intrested to see what happens next. On the other hand the current puppy love between Jessica and Hoyt is ok these are the characters I wanna see most in the next series even though their love has problems to

Bill as a character to me can be a nice guy and sympathetic at times but I think hes bad relationship material. I am interested to see what happens next but the only relationship im interested into now is Hoyt an Jessica's thank you for replying I wanted to know if I was the only one who is angry at Bill for being an ass.
However I still hold out hope that Bill has a good reason why he has done some of these things and Eric has been lying. Btw me being a straight Male I would like a womans point of view on this relationship and if anyone else agrees or not
@MegaSilentGamer My opinion as a woman is that the whole been sookie/bill relationship has been a mess from the very start. It's extremely unhealthy, codependent and unbalanced. She latched on to him because she felt alone and thought he was her only hope of being loved. He adopted a fake persona modeled on her ideal of the perfect gentleman, until he bought into his own act. She never knew the real Bill, his past, his job in the vamp world.
He really fell in love with her at some point during his mission for the queen, yes. But what he loves isn't really her as the person she is, it's this pure virginal girl who"saved him" and who sees him as he desperately wants to be seen, the most human of vampires. Which is a lie, because he's no better than most. He can't let her see his darkness because he can't accept it himself. Everything has been tainted by his dishonesty and his lies about himself and others.
I got to say I used to stand up for Bill but after S3 finale I am kinda pissed at him he aparently let the 2 druggies almost kill sookie in the 1st season so she could drink his blood so she would be attracted to him. this is because the Queen told him to find Sookie yet this is Eric's word so i am still unsure but there is strong evidence to back up Eric's story. I am also afraid Bill is getting to protective of her killing other vamps that know her and leaving her friends to die.

they are together in realy life ... and im not suprised the chemistry between them u can tell they are really in love ..... hes so dreamy .... the way he looks at her ... and looks so mysterious ....
