  • Back in the day I was in a band called the Royal Gems,we used to do gigs at

the Rainbow Gardens in Pomona with these guys.

  • great tune! I remember i saw the album in 1980 @ the record store in Whittier. The guy

played it for me , it was especially cool because my fathers cousin was in the group ,

my mom still has the original Blendells photo signed to my dad. I also have a copy on my wall

to remind me of the "MUSIC" we love.

  • ORIGINALLY RELEASED ON THE RAMPART LABEL. hARD TO FIND. EASY TO FIND ON REPRISE. GREAT RECORD. I KNOW THIS RECORD WAS HUGE IN THE D.C./BALTIMORE AREA AND UP THE REST OF THE EAST COAST.

  • Cool. Thanks for posting this rare recording.

  • i am clapping my hands before he starts singing!!!!!!!fabulous!!!!!!!!!!!!awesome job uploader!!!!

  • Please! Upload information about the band. I really like this kind of raw and honest rock music from, I suppose, the 60s/70s. My hobby is to rediscover all those great bands from that period. Listen for example to THE ZETTLERS and their versions of "Skinnie Minnie" and "Beautiful Delilah". Really, really good with a bloody driving beat.

  • This tune always makes me wanna dance :)

  • wow all the dads r in this band

  • My father is the singer! Sal Murillo

  • my dad robert springer was the drummer

  • Sheven718.. Located in Connecticut, not UK. Blendells

song is on the Reprise label.

  • Nothing like listening to them Live at the PARAMOUNT BALLROOM on Brooklyn Ave.

  • Bought this single when it first came out

and still have it in great condition.

    Thanks for posting!
