I've seen some gameplay. They've changed how you could make just 1 type of unit the entire game and win (Mammoth Tanks) and turned it into a more strategic rather than tactical game. Graphics are revamped (look very nice) and hopefully it wont suck as bad as 3.

The Brotherhood of Nod is not a fascist organisation and never was. It's a religious organisation, believing in Kane's so called "prophecy." No wonder there are various biblical elements in the Tiberium -series of Command & Conquer. But you're right, Slavik's Nod had some sort of fascistic twist during Tiberian Sun/Firestorm. And he was killed by Brother Marcion after the Firestorn Cricis.
The next tiberium game should happen in a new battlefield. SPACE and nod has the advantage in technology, territory and planets thanks to the Tacticus and the Scrin tower

Tiberium sun was SO much better. All that EA has improved on are the cast, cutscenes and what tiberium looks like. The gameplay in C & C 3 is terrible. +what happened to the walls, gates, turrets, hovercaft and all the other things we miss. EA is proud of itself because C&C3 "looked" good.

i read an interview with ea yesterday and their planning a CNC 4 sometime in the early 2010s and they say that it will probably be the final chapter for the tiberian universe... however they did say they plan to make at least 5 expansion packs and an online feature similar to world domination in tiberian sun that will make up for the lack of a 5th title and the story will actually unfold based on real world players... this sounds AWESOME

Where did you hear that? I wholly disagree with that, especially since the next game in the Tiberium plot line is going to a game like Renegade, and seriously doubt that if the series was going to end that the developers would end it on that.
I was talking about the Tiberium that was still having it's name worked on, which was also canceled. And when you Nod fan boys/girls learn that Nod isn't going to win. The developers want to keep making money off the series, so Nod will never win. By the way, I'm sick of that stupid credo.
In any case, the next game be worked in is the Red Alert series anyways. So we'll have to wait to find out why Kane's plan isn't going to work.
It would be really funny if the Tacitus exploded in Kane's face. Now I seriously think he just made up the prophecy thing since up until his second defeat his master plan was transforming the planet with a tiberium missile (that would kill everything on Earth including him, but he's a madman). Now I wonder the writers hear remember that Kane didn't boast of a guaranteed victory the last time he had the tacitus. Whatever his plan is it won't work. He lose like he always does.
The gist of this scene is that the Tacitus (retrieved by LEGION in the final mission) has been made extremely unstable by GDI's experiments upon it and may self-destruct or permanently corrupt the data contained upon it. Before this can happen, Kane connects LEGION to the Tacitus, and it may be assumed that LEGION crashed completely due to the massive influx of unstable data, teleported to the Ichor Hub, or both.
C&C went horribly downhill at Yuri's revenge, although the first Generals was good. but the only decent Nod vs GDI games were the very first one along with the covert ops, then EA took over and turnt everything stupid and over the top alien crap. should have left it to westwood when it still had it's cult following! I played that game everyday and would still play it over this game.
it was created by Kane from the "remains" of Cabal, the AI from Firestor - this is why Kane refers to it as his "child"
but Legion seems to be more to it than that, several times throught the game there are visual, almost subliminal references to Scrin symbols, and it seems something "happened" to legion when it was interfaced with tacitus (when it was Cabal)
my guess is kane wants to control the Scrin using Legion, transmitting him to the ships outside the solar system...;)

EA cancelled it (because it didn't "meet EA standards").

Tiberium sun was SO much better. All that EA has improved on are the cast, cutscenes and what tiberium looks like. The gameplay in C & C 3 is terrible. +what happened to the walls, gates, turrets, hovercaft and all the other things we miss. EA is proud of itself because C&C3 "looked" good.

lol hell no the Tiberian sun cut scenes were so cheesy. The only good actor was the darth vader guy - i forget his name - and Kane. Even Michael Bein was acting a lil off.

well at first the Earth wasn't as messed up from Tiberium so they could go professional....but after the Earth being eat away for so long and not very hospitalble, Kane took in the represt and they just look more like a cult....I suppose

I'm kinda confused - i thought the Tacitus was just a memory hub with "millions of terraquads of data". But in C&C3:TW Kane says that the tacitus just contained a warning of the Scrin and that the Scrin can be attracted by a huge tiberium blast.
But in Kane's wrath the tacitus seems to be a lot more important - so what is its true purpose??

If you guys wanna know something apparently kane is supposed to be Cain from the Genesis meaning that hes practically immortal that explains him not aging and continuously coming back from the dead to prove this in Renegade you see a sarcophagus on which in hebrew Abel is written Abel was Cains brother in the Genesis who was murdered by Cains thus CAin committed the first murder thus this Kane is actually Cain and he cant die till some 7 generations of his children are born

if you recall in Tib Sun Kane had his scientists decipher the tacitus, Cabal having a major impact on its decipher, however Cabal f-ed up, and LEGION was created in his stead....using knowledge from the tacitus...so mate...you are in a way correct

i read an interview with ea yesterday and their planning a CNC 4 sometime in the early 2010s and they say that it will probably be the final chapter for the tiberian universe... however they did say they plan to make at least 5 expansion packs and an online feature similar to world domination in tiberian sun that will make up for the lack of a 5th title and the story will actually unfold based on real world players... this sounds AWESOME

Kane boasted his plans would work before and they didn't. Personally, I think it's likely that Scrin maybe the villains in the next game.

I was talking about the Tiberium that was still having it's name worked on, which was also canceled. And when you Nod fan boys/girls learn that Nod isn't going to win. The developers want to keep making money off the series, so Nod will never win. By the way, I'm sick of that stupid credo.
In any case, the next game be worked in is the Red Alert series anyways. So we'll have to wait to find out why Kane's plan isn't going to work.

It would be really funny if the Tacitus exploded in Kane's face. Now I seriously think he just made up the prophecy thing since up until his second defeat his master plan was transforming the planet with a tiberium missile (that would kill everything on Earth including him, but he's a madman). Now I wonder the writers hear remember that Kane didn't boast of a guaranteed victory the last time he had the tacitus. Whatever his plan is it won't work. He lose like he always does.

The gist of this scene is that the Tacitus (retrieved by LEGION in the final mission) has been made extremely unstable by GDI's experiments upon it and may self-destruct or permanently corrupt the data contained upon it. Before this can happen, Kane connects LEGION to the Tacitus, and it may be assumed that LEGION crashed completely due to the massive influx of unstable data, teleported to the Ichor Hub, or both.

C&C went horribly downhill at Yuri's revenge, although the first Generals was good. but the only decent Nod vs GDI games were the very first one along with the covert ops, then EA took over and turnt everything stupid and over the top alien crap. should have left it to westwood when it still had it's cult following! I played that game everyday and would still play it over this game.

its a computer AI
it was created by Kane from the "remains" of Cabal, the AI from Firestor - this is why Kane refers to it as his "child"
but Legion seems to be more to it than that, several times throught the game there are visual, almost subliminal references to Scrin symbols, and it seems something "happened" to legion when it was interfaced with tacitus (when it was Cabal)
my guess is kane wants to control the Scrin using Legion, transmitting him to the ships outside the solar system...;)

there is no cabal in CnC 3 but you play as LEGION who has derived from the tacitus's technology and cabal's AI components.
