wow kelly clarkson's voice is very impressive here! i do think her voice would sound great with junsu's. but zhangliyin's voice is very strong too. in the end, they are all three wonderful voices.

Junsu's vocals destroys justin's in all aspects, no doubt about that.
As for LiYin, she might have not been so stable live (she did just debut at the time) but in the studio ver. her tone and technique is much more pleasant to the ears than kelly's screeching in the higher registers :/

Ah, i didn't know that the Korean version wasn't the original. Hmm, I feel like Jang In Rin's version is better than this. Though don't get me wrong, the singing voices of Kelly Clarkson and Justin Guarini's are beautiful, it just match up with Liyin's (her chinese name) and Junsu's. In actuality, Kelly Clarkson's voice is more powerful than Liyin's but she doesn't have the powerful male vocals to completeness it and make it gorgeous, which Liyin did.

Yes, Kelly is an amazing singer and she always will be, but the power in Jang ri in's vocals singing this song literally almost put me to tears because there was so much emotion in it and along with the video that it was just omigod! for both versions, both of the female's voice was more powerful and it took over the males. i think it'd be better if the male had a stronger voice for both versions.

did Junsu and Jang Ri In cover this song or did they have the rights? Although I'm a DBSK fan this is no bias comment but I like the korean version more because it's more emotional, the sound and junsu& jang ri in's voice are so soft. Although Kelly Clarkson has a beautiful voice and Justin Guarini is fine, I prefer Junsu's voice for this song

I totally prefer the korean/chinese version i think their voices compliment each other and junsu's voice is filled of melancholy and sadness and you can feel that, Jang Ri In and Xiah's voices are in a perfect harmony but I also think that this version was pretty good and like it more than the kelly and justin's version ... but this is just my opinion,I respect those who prefer the American versions 'cause everyone has different taste in music and I respect it.Plz respect my opinion as well=D

Ok I didn't want to comment before hearing both versions but I prefer Justin n Kelly NOT because voices were any better But the passion and strength is what I like in the voice in the Korean one their voices were amazing but much more softly sung which I also love I actually love both but for the power in kelps voice. We can argue about who is better or what not, but at the end of the day, the sales will speak for itself.

@00001267 TVXQ doesn't just market to South Korea, they market to most of Asia, which is quite a large consumer population, probably even bigger than what American consumers can offer. And quite frankly, Britney Spears is more of an entertainer than a singer, since her songs are more pop oriented rather than powerful vocals so its trying to compare apples and oranges. The main point I'm simply saying is that Kelly Clarkson should not be considered just a "good" singer.

Ah, i didn't know that the Korean version wasn't the original. Hmm, I feel like Jang In Rin's version is better than this. Though don't get me wrong, the singing voices of Kelly Clarkson and Justin Guarini's are beautiful, it just match up with Liyin's (her chinese name) and Junsu's. In actuality, Kelly Clarkson's voice is more powerful than Liyin's but she doesn't have the powerful male vocals to completeness it and make it gorgeous, which Liyin did.

Personally, I like Kelly Clarkson's voice in this song as well as Jang Ri-in's. There's a sweet and romantic quality to both of their voices that is very suited to this song.
And also, "jacking a song" as someone here called is rather inaccurate. Newer artists will do cover versions of songs from other artists all the time, personally I don't see what the problem is. Each version is a bit different and unique in its own way.

There's some confusion about this version sung by Kelly Clarkson and Justin Guarini and the version performed by Jang Ri-in (Zhang Liyin) and Xiah Junsu. This song with Kelly and Justin was recorded in 2003. Also if you find Justin Guarini's first album, this song is included on that too.
The Korean version was recorded and released in 2006 as a single, and afterwards on Zhang Liyin/Jang Ri-in's 2008 album, I will.

I would totally have to disagree with those who say Kelly sings this better. Yes, Kelly is an amazing singer and she always will be, but the power in Jang ri in's vocals singing this song literally almost put me to tears because there was so much emotion in it and along with the video that it was just omigod! This one I can listen to it and be like this is very beautiful but I can't find it as emotional, but the guy just doesn't have as much vocal strength as Junsu did~

Kelly hits those notes so effortlessly! I think Jang Ri In oversings her songs. I don't like Guarini's voice as much as Junsu's though.
