  • If you had a more sensitive camera, you would see that the whole moon is faintly lit up by a reddish glow during lunar eclipses, this is the lensing effect of the earth's atmosphere bending light like a prism. Is jumping to conclusions the only exercise you get??

  • YES EVEN THOUGH WE ARE MILLIONS OF MILES AWAY FROM IT THE SUN IS STILL 100 TIMES THE SIZE OF EARTH SO ITS JUST THE SUN CASTING LIGHT AROUND OUR PLANET AND LIGHTING THE MOON

  • I also had large cloud cover when this was going down.

  • Thumbs up if you just skipped almost to the end.;)

  • im baffled i thought planet x was approaching from below ( southern hemisphere ) and so would of lit the bottom of the moon not the right hand side , what do you think? does that make sense m8,... or am i getting tings mixed up!

  • on the west coast of aus it didnt get covered at all...it was a full moon so what?

  • I THINK THAT EVERYONE IS LOOKING TOO INTO THIS WHOLE "OTHER LIGHT SOURCE" THING. IF IT IS SOMETHING LIKE THAT THEN ITS OKAY.BECAUSE GOD CREATED IT.NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS -HAPPENS!WE CANT STOP IT BECAUSE ITS GODS WILL.YA KNOW?BUT MY OPININON IS THAT THE ECLIPSE WASNT OVER.SO EVERYONE TRY NOT TO GET YOUR PANTIES IN A BUNCH.GOD IS WITH US SO DONT WORRY ABOUT ANYTHING.

  • @o0Tojar0o The right side does eventually dim out-- that this clip is only the first half of the eclipse. The moon first flies into the outer reaches of the Earth's shadow which is not as dark and later all the way into deeper shadow. The right side remained "lit up" more because as the moonlight's brightness diminished, the camera lens opened up more to let more light in, thus keeping the right side lighter. That's also when the moon begins to look more red than black--the lens has opened up.

  • @o0Tojar0o - I'm still stunned. I've also had several PM's on this anomaly... I'm almost tempted to make another video regarding this..

  • Alhamdulillahi!! :)

A total lunar eclipse occurs when the Earth casts its shadow on the full moon, blocking the sun's rays that otherwise reflect off the moon's surface. Some indirect sunlight still pierces through to give the moon its eerie hue --- the source of the light :)

  • @feelinirie88 - Yes, my dear child:) Now, move along, there's nothing to see here.

  • Thanx

  • freaky.... I did not know the moon was the shape of an eyeball. I Know it is not planet x or nothing like that, I know everything is OK andI am going back to sleep.

  • its depending in which country you were filming, not everywhere in the world was a full eclips.

  • thankyou for posting this, could not see the action from the u.k.,we have heavy snow.still

this what happended here.. is how nasa look for new galaxys, wonder if anyone noticed our galaxy??

  • @innerspace428 - Thank you! I sure hope you guys make it through the winter (since it just started today).

  • If there is another light source, then the dark-side of the moon isn't really the dark side =P

  • Thank you for sharing this with us. You really captured the copper color. I watched it last night and it was amazing. When it was copper, it was like looking at another planet, like mars or mercury. It was a spectacular show with all the stars and everything. Again, thank you so much for filming and sharing with us:)

  • @MarsBar2012 - Thank you. There was much more "red" in color while taking the footage. I'm disappointed with my HD camera file. When I uploaded the footage from my camera to the computer, the file was 2.3 GB in size. But when I made the movie in Microsoft Movie Maker, the file decreased in size to only 20MB and made the video a MPG2. So, all the High Def footage was lost and most of the red color of the Moon. Unfortunately, Microsoft Movie Maker won't accept MTS video files. Grrrr!

  • That is the light from the moon, it still didn't finish eclipsing yet

  • @melenmike yeah, you know when the moon reflects from the sun

  • This is Planet X .... i am sure other is fake

  • Thank You!!

  • @cindyleeford - Thank you and you're welcome. Merry X-mas!

  • we haven`t seen anything over here in Switzerland as our weather is miserable. Therefore thanks for the shots! Congrat

  • @Wecknachricht - Thank you and Happy Holidays!

  • Another light source at full eclipse?

(the hidden planet on the other side of the sun heading this way... Nibiru.. no joke)

  • Yea.. I was wondering why one side didn't get lit. I didn't get it.

And the sky had almost no clouds out here in jamaica

  • Saw this in Arizona too!! Damn clouds kept blocking some view but it was still pretty spectacular.. Happy holidays!! (:

  • @mexicano7771000 - Happy holidays to you also! :)

  • nice video! thanks for capturing, I live in Mid Michigan and I was able to see the moon only until about 115am when the clouds took over, so its nice to see it!

  • @staticxr - Thank you for watching! I guess I got lucky before the cloud front came near me. I couldn't get the other half of the footage when the clouds rolled in. Happy holidays.

  • great video bro, it was very cold last night!!

  • I noticed the same thing here in N. Michigan. It never go completely dark on the right....was only about 15 minutes after the full eclipse though that it got cloudy here.....Thanks for the vid!!!

  • you're right the moon never went completely dark did it? we're still waiting on it here in UK, about another 3hrs.

I captured the moon in July in Spain, looking like it was double, like there was one moon on top of another, 2 light rings round the side where it doesnt go dark on your film. the only conclusion I could come to was that there was another light source either behind or to the right of it. managed to find 1 person whod captured the same phenominon in sweden. weird!

  • @carolannej2 - Wow!! That's really strange!

  • Happy Winter Solstice, all, and thanks for sharing with us!

  • @leesullivan98 - Happy Holidays!

  • Awsome! Thanks for posting! Peace! .V,,

  • @i8topees - Thank you and Merry Christmas!

  • @jcattera Merry Christmas! Peace! .V,,

  • Another light source? Nawwww, just remnance of the Sun. There's just nothin else there man.

  • Well, I can see your point, it is obviously possible. But considering the distance of Nibiru it is still questionable, however, have you ever seen any of Bob Dean's video's? The moon is very likely inhabited at this time, with the annunaki, which would explain light sources on the moon that we can't see here on earth. Check out Bob Dean though he is a retired Command Sergeant Major in the US Army and has some amazing videos you really should see.

  • @aryzen2012 - Thank you and I'll check this guy out for sure!

  • thanks JC for the video, which type of cam corder er you using.

  • @dinze1 - It's the Canon Vixia HF20 model.

  • tkx for filming this....

  • Love the rifle more than the eclipse and i don't care how rare it is lol

  • outstanding...nothing this spectacular east coast australia...except for the brightness of the moon lighting up the chemclouds!! lol!!

  • @adamb20102010 - Thank you and Happy Holidays! :)

  • You can see one corner of it. Could that light come from Nibiru?

  • @NAWRARESNAW - That's a possibility! The Moon never really went completely dark did it? Great observation!

  • @jcattera Yep, i think its Nibiru...

  • @NAWRARESNAW hate to burst your bubble but no proof of Nibiru= Doesn't exist

  • @PookeoResurrected1 Watch some of Jcattera's videos

  • @NAWRARESNAW I have, and his videos are good, but I don't want to hate or anything but some are misinformed

  • @jcattera Could be that the moon's path is off. According to NASA, the top of the moon is well within the Umbra and it should completely go blood red. You have something else... Nasa took the page down! The dark shadow disproves light from other sources, unless behind the sun. But the moon could be off. Please share the angle you shot the video, approximately? Was it ~90 - (Lat - 23) + 5, Lat being your location lattitude? Help me analyse please. watch?v=6nLTkWSdukQ is my meagre attempt.

  • @VRamSkyWatcher Smokinjoetrainer said he felt the moon had moved position?

  • @247mmg - I think the Earth has tilted, and the Moon is going along for the ride. The polar shift is occuring as we speak. I hope there isn't an abrupt pole shift, as I would say would cause major worldwide catastrophes. But you can see the pole shift is causing the polar caps to melt since the poles are now more pointed to the Sun. The jet streams have changed all over the world. California is now getting slammed with a new jet stream, and the UK and most of Europe is getting slammed with snow.

  • @jcattera - Yikes! Better run to the hills! Weather patterns are perilously spiking. Interestingly Revelations in the Bible does speak of an earthquake that will be felt worldwide with the sun becoming dark as sackcloth and the moon as red as blood (possibly from a neighbouring red dwarf?) This is recognised as the 6th seal that will dawn the time of the great tribulation. When I read this it sounds very abrupt (the signs certainly point towards an 'unanticipated' pole shift like phenomenon.)

  • @ChristEternity or or (listen to this).......... OR maybeeeeee it means u freaking out and need to chill and if we die well that'll suck so do what you wudnt normally do. have un and if nothing happns well then ur screwed

  • @VRamSkyWatcher - Thanks for the link. I'm going to look into this further. I'm in S.E. Michigan

    42deg 54' 32" N, 82 deg 55' 25.87 W - Elevation = 765 ft above sea level.

  • Oh yeah, first AND second. :)

  • Glad you were able to capture it. Seismographs went berzerk after the eclipse. Happy holidays buddy! Thumbs up.

  • @ImatvapI - Happy holidays Matrix! I'm sure grateful we made it to another one. haha!

  • @jcattera hey, nice capture, i couldnt see this in southwest lower Michigan due to the cloud coverage.

so i have a question about it = did it appear red to you at all, or an orange even?

  • @jcattera Merry Christmas! =)

  • @careyeOhkey - Happy Holidays! :)

  • @jcattera This'll be our last if Nibiru does indeed come in 12-21-12.
