The bass players' guitar ROCKS! Gene Simmons prb would have said it was "oldish" when Kiss started out! Love it love it love it!

When The Melvins play live they tend to have every song go into one another without taking any breaks. The bassist is in the next band Tomahawk and this is their way to transition into Tomahawk without stopping. But you're right, I wish every band's bassist would stop screaming into their pickups for about a minute at the end of a 40min! Very cliche indeed. I want to join your quest to bitch about it on youtube!
