Nice. Can there be any damage to the engine when standing still for very long periods of time? My E36 328i is standing still for a year and as i've got my license back i'm going to fire it up soon but irst i want to make sure if i wont cause any damage as i love the car very much.

@DEADmetal3 yes. replace the oils. check the seals for the tranni. and of course the battery might need replacing. but that should be it.

the 103 12v is usully a 3.0l but can be had in special vertions of 3.2 3.4 and 3.6 by brabus and amg.

No, it couldn't. M104 is a 24V DOHC-design while M103 is a 12V SOHC-design, which is clearly visible in the video. In addition, the largest M103 engine had 3-litre displacement and it produces 177hp at 5700 rpm.
