I'm more than happy being an animal and less of an angel. What a ridiculous idea. Sex is not evil, it's awesome. When you start denying parts of your humanity you live on the brink and every emotion feels like russian roulette until you can't take it anymore.
no matter what your religious beliefs, morality always seems to go back to one's values. even if fr hans is correct; god exists and/or we have an immaterial soul, those supposed truths mean nothing regarding morality unless those truths are deemed worthy of value.and YOU are the only person who can deem your own values worthy. morality is a function of the interaction between a being and the rest of existence. human morality is not necessarily objective, but it can(and usually is) to an extent.
1) theism isn't necessary for a human or a society to be moral
2) there is no moral deed that ONLY a theist can do, and an atheist cannot also do - atheists can feed the hungry, cloth the naked, house the homeless, and speak out against injustice and wrong doing, despite the fact they do not believe in a deity, do not organize their lives by the "teachings" of one, and do not follow religious "morals"
Theism, however, does spark evil deeds among otherwise good humans. This is because of: faith
"The Christian Moral Tradition," is not synonymous with god! Without even arguing about that, you still didn't answer the question. How is god needed to draw morals from the narrative of the bible, or human tradition, or western history, the Lord of the Rings, or anything?

It seems like the moderator allows more time for the preachy bullshitter than for Matt.

Cars: They are more than simply an engine on wheels in a shell, therefore they MUST have the breath of god within them!
Or... it is possible for a thing to be greater than the sum of it's parts without magic being involved.

The father is, predictably, pretty preachy. It's also pretty damned annoying.
