i run 32:1 synthetic amsoil "hp injector" ever since i got my kx100 (used) and it runs great, whatever the dude before me was running was shit, could barely keep a plug from fouling much less start the damn thing

i did the 40:1 ratio in my cr125 and i went through plugs like crazy, then i did the 32:1 ratio and it runs awesome havent fouled a plug since. 40:1 is too rich.

2 strokes barely produce any smoke when they are jetted just right. for most bikes that run synthetic oil 32:1 is too rich in oil. i bet any money that if you pull your plugs, they will be black. you want barely any spouge coming out of you tail pipe. 40:1 is a very good mix

i would rather run 40:1 than have preignition occur over running a hotter plug. my bike is jetted for 40:1 so im staying with that mixture. i might try one of those none fouling plugs and see how they work.

Hey just to let ya know a good thing to do to these 125s is swap the stock 12 tooth front sprocket for the 11 tooth one it adds like a shit load of power. I just made the swap yesterday and i cant believe how much power it adds.

by looking at the frame, gastank, shrowds and the side of the motor it would have to be 1998-2002 but deffinatly not a 2003 because they changed the frame, motor, tank, shrowds on 2003 and up bikes
