  • @megajoeify i loved that part too

  • Most badass character is the GORILLA!!!

  • Nop, being rich doesn't give you a PhD, being smart does.

  • @adriancho07070707 Obviously you don't have a PhD, Mr.Grammarmistakes.

  • @zagboyar English isn't my first language, It's spanish, actually I have a masters degree in chemistry

  • @zagboyar stfu second language you dumb ass can you say shit in spanish ha you dipshit

  • Caesar is home... i paused the movie and just stood there...

  • Totally redeemed itself from the Tim Burton crap that preceeded it....Sorry Marky Mark!

  • "NOOOO" "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" "NOOOOOOOOOOO" "NOEZZZZ..." Draco: Shut the bloody hell up!!!!!!!!

  • i fucking loved this movie it might be my favorite movie of all time. up there with i robot and good will hunting for me haha.

  • the badass moment your talking about..NNOOO!!!!!!

  • For all the apes out there, you have to ask yourself...

How many guns do we have?

  • If anybody wants to know how the apes actually took over just watch the credits

  • What are his ratings

  • @Kushalbasnyat Dogshit, Won't remember in T-Minus, good time when you're drunk, good time no alcohol required, buy it on Blu Ray and Awesometacular.

  • What's better? "Awesometacular" or "Buy it on Blu Ray"?

  • @StrikerANDShade the one on the left?

  • @StrikerANDShade Awesometacular

  • @StrikerANDShade awesometacular

  • "he gets treated like shit by Draco Malfoy"

haha thats what i said xD

  • Tom Felton ripped of the first movie by saying "get your filthy paws off me you DAMN DIRTY APE" oh well i still love you Draco

  • @randa9711 actually that line was written into the movie to pay respect to the original, and there was alot of things in the movie similar to past movies, spraying caesar with water, humans were sprayed with water in the first one, there was alot of little details, that were from the other movies, to see if fans could spot them, it was all about respecting the movies that paved the way, not ripping them off

  • @GrrrlamMad dude i'm no biologist, but I can set tell you 3 facts. 1 if you go into this movie and expect biological acuracy than you have something wrong with your brain. 2 a virus or a disease can always evolve(basic biology) and 3 how the f..k can you say that paying tribute to the classic is bad?(that's what the line was for)

  • i hate seeing awesome videos like this get dislikes for no reason

  • Caesar reminds me of Mojo Jojo.

  • @MouseVanilla YEASMOJOJOJO

  • 31 Creationists disliked the video

  • It's was like my favourite film of last year.

  • They included the "Dirty Ape" line. Useless piece of shit only did that to please original fans. It did not fit at all.

As for the disease aspect, look how many deadly diseases have plagued humans (cough black plague cough) And we aren't all wiped out now are we? Also, I'm no biologist, but I thnik that apes can't even physically speak due to their vocal cords being different. Any biologist feel free to correct me on that last one.

  • This movie deserves a sequel where the apes take over called "Fall of the Planet of the Humans".

  • I love how he says "the CGI monkey" like its all AI controlled... dude, its Andy Serkis behind that CGI monkey... The same dude who played Gollum and King Kong in the remake.

  • Fact: Even when the apes were utilizing violence, they aimed not to kill but only to conquer. That is the most humane thing I have ever seen. Every time an ape tries to kill a human, Cesar says no. They were fighting for their freedom...they're doing it right.

  • when Caesar screamed No!! i was like......wow.......best part of the movie now wat Draco Malfoy!!!

  • 'Get your stinking paw off me you damn dirty ape!'

    ...... NOOO!!

Dead quiet and gasps. Best movie scene of last year no doubt

  • When I went to see this movie I thought that they were going to jump the shark by having them take over. But they dont they just free themselves and establish a home away from humans.

  • Aw man during that NO! part everyone in the theature literally went quite then a unison "What?" the face everyone made was priceless! Man this movie is word UP AWESOMETACULAR!!!!!!

  • Fuck yeah this is AWESOMETACTULAR it was the best movie of 2011.

  • Could you review Red Dawn?

  • I honestly prefer this more realistic style than the old movies. Yes this is an origin story/prequel so the apes aren't smart enough to speak fluently like in the other movies, and I hope they don't learn to either. Maybe a little more, but not much more. I think it looks kinda dumb and silly to make the apes talk and act completely like humans, I'd like it much more if they kept it sort of the style they currently have; they're extremely intelligent, but not quite like humans.

  • When I saw the trailer I was absolutely sure this was going to be a shit movie. Dumb and pointless. Just another one of those times I am reminded that judging "by the cover" can bite you in the ass.

  • You know Drako Malfoy shit himself when he heard a goddamn ape say "NO!!" Awesome movie. Surprisingly believable.

  • @darbusmaximus You thought it was believable? This, of all films?

  • @laifalbert Well...it kind of sounds silly when you say it like that! I meant I wasn't shaking my head in the the theater (like I thought I would) saying "there is absolutely no way that would happen!" It won't happen obviously but it wasn't absurdly nonsensical. That's what I meant.

  • SPOILERS! NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

  • will you review the original movies?

  • i'm guessing the scene your talking about is the end scene where the commercial pilot has that uncurable disease that spreads around the world. However, your wrong about this being a prequel, it's a reboot because in the first movie, the humans are wiped out bby the atom bomb, and in the new film, the humans get wasted by a medical breakthrough, which are big problems for the 60's and today

  • @jaredbrobb1996 Hmph. Spoilers.

  • Probably one of the best movies iv ever seen , definatly buy this movie , really well made , great story line. I would rate this movie 10/10 but I don't want to say it's the best movie out there so 9/10 :( great movie , this movie will definatly get some awards in the future.

  • I got goosebumps at the NOOOOO part!

  • I liked when Ceaser said "NOOOOOOOO"

  • Saw it yesterday an it was fucking awesome

  • You my friend, are a Badass

  • Ouch! you just friggin' hit me in the face at the end of your video, now you want me to watch more? That hurt!!!! NO!

  • Andy Serkis deserves an Oscar.

  • @xD34DxxS1L3NC3x I agree. It sucks that he is not in the oscar nominations

  • saw the movie it was awesome but what was the moment he said blew his mind, i could not figure it out

  • @Scottacus912 i think is was the part when Caesar talks "Nooooo!"

  • @TheGamerThing my mouth dropped when he said that, i was surprised but i thought it would be like when he kills draco haha.

  • in the ape world i wonder what an ape version of spiderman would be like?????

  • I wish they would give more credit to Andy Serkis. Only he could make a career out of moping around on all fours.

  • It's not a reboot or a prequel. It's a pre-boot.

  • i bet the part you liked was when the ape spoke....that was creepy...

  • after i saw rise of the planet of the apes, i had to see the original. but when in the original, they explain how they rise against the human. it just doesnt add up? you know, in the escape the planet of the apes, and conquest of the planet of the apes. there is a ceaser ape to. but with a whole different story. where does this fit in? other then that, epic fucking movie.. i LOVE ceaser

  • @Tang014 its that whole argument about if this is a prequel or a reboot as it doesnt really fit in with the original 5. ive only seen this one and the first but i heard that in another one the origin is explained and its different to in this, so they dont really fit together. but there are a lot of references to the originals. btw watch the mid-credits scene, that last little bit just blew me away!

  • my favorite scene was " let go of me you damn dirty ape" and then weitht for weight for it...... "NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!" and I was all like hell yah first talking chimp ......... bitches

  • that is definately when shit got real

  • you said two movies I liked sucked and I saw this im thank god he can insult something i hated, but nope you like what I hate and you hate what i like ;)

  • this movie beat out Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 as my favorite movie of the summer. It's awesome, probably one of, if not my favorite movie of the year actually.

  • It's like saying Dragon Ball evolution was good, it was a good movie and has a good story, but if you saw the old ones it is absolute shit. The entire planet of the apes is based arround time travling apes that come back in time and have a baby (Caesar) and then they die, then Caesar grows up and takes over the humans by starting to speak (alot) and "no" becomes a racist word to apes because they where slaves. So it's in the ruin your memories catagory, but it's good if you never saw the old one

  • (breathes).......NOOOOOO!!!!!

  • that movie was epic. Also Malfoy should stick to being a wizard, he doesnt work well with animals. I know you Harry Potter fans remember when buckbeak fucked his shit up.

  • *puts on nerd glasses* umm actually jeremy, rise of the planet of the apes was amazingsuperterrificultraawesometacular.

  • Sorry, not scar, I mean birthmark.

  • It was an amazing movie, but I caught a mistake where about an hour through Caesar's scar moves to the other side.

  • i love this movie it was freaking awesome!!!!!

  • bah, jeremy, we usually agree on shit (you wouldn't know this till now tho). Anyways, I didn't like the movie.

  • he was like NOOOOOOOO!! NO NO NOOOO!!!!!!!

  • jeremy you stupid big nosed cunt, the human race is infected by a virus that doesn't effect apes, thats how they take over, did you miss that part?????????

  • @anlaff lmfao dude its just a movie

besides that was the funiest review i've ever seen

  • Remember there has already been 3 planet of the apes movies

, so basically this is how it all started...

  • @HDAWeSOmEKILLER1 There's actually seven. Not counting the twilight zone version.

  • @MortalInKombat what?!?!?!??!

  • @HDAWeSOmEKILLER1 there is planet, beneath, escape, conquest, and battle of the apes. Also the remake, rise, and the twilight zone version.

  • Ceaser: NOOOOOOOO

    Audience: . . . . . .

Me: Well, that settles it. im buying the movie

  • @animatedgirl9 Dude i totally agree with you. When Caesar screams no, i was like.... Holly Fuck. Thats just was fuking awsome!

  • If Andy Serkis doesn't get nominated again I swear to God I'm going to go on a hunger strike...

  • Way to go Ape.

  • black ppl came from being apes black people raise their fist so does these apes... hmmmm something is fishy here

  • @nerfshark90210 what, that you forget to add white people in your observation yep really fishy.......

  • Ceasar:'NOOO'

and than the whole audience says: 'huh, what?'

    PRICELESS

  • ok am I the only one who saw the whole like mission to mars and stuff from the movie?about the astronaut that got lost and he landed in the future about how they lost the ship in space? easter egg anyone?

  • Prequel? Reboot? WRONG!!!

It's a remake of Conquest of the Planet of the Apes!

  • I enjoyed the original POTA since i was 10 and enjoyed the series and the remake was ok but this prequel/reboot was awesome and really showed us before the original POTA movie on how the apes ended up being like us and evolved over the years. Anyone glad this did motion capture right and conquered the dead eye syndrome?

  • @bratsmovies17

YES a Thundercats movie in Mocap by WETA should do nicely just like TinTin

  • @morgothFLOW

Now they also did TinTin and was a triumph for Mocap animation

  • At the end of the movie (before the credits) i was like well... what now? and then during the credits when their neighbor started sneezing i was like "OOHHH DAMN forgot about that... Lawl"

  • "NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!" Draco Malfoy's like "(oh shit!!!!)"

  • NOOOOOO!

  • the hunting scene at the beginning is a hommage to the original with heston. fucking amazing

  • Dude. Is it just me or does this movie seem racist. no. Just me. Now I feel racist. Damn

  • I didn't really like it.

  • NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

  • At the end of the movie a virus starts that's how the humans die

  • got it for christmas great movie :D

although i already saw it in theatres

  • NOO

  • gollum plays ceasar

  • I just bought the collectors edition on blu ray and it's awesometacular ... Shame is I've got two copies of all the others

  • this was a great movie.

I just bought the Planet of the Apes evolution collection on blu-ray and it is awesomecular. :)

    btw Jeremy great review. :)

  • rhis was a great movie jujst watched it last night

  • I really enjoyed this movie!

  • Monkeys will never rule.

  • Yes yes yes

  • I dont want to spoil anything (for people who didnt watch it,yet)but wait like 30 secs during the credits and youll see how the humans are wiped out.

  • you had to stay for the credits to see the real ending of the movie

  • @DangofaN1 was there a nuke?!

Cause I wanted to see three things in this movie

    1. launch of that spaceship.... check

    2. a nuke.... maybe? you tell me.

    3. a gorilla with a machine gun... nope

  • @DangofaN1 Say what!!!

  • NOOO!!

  • @TheStarDeth He is one man, sir.

  • I just saw this today in my school cinema. It's going straight on the Christmas list.

  • only the chimp is attractive. rest all are craps.

  • Was it the part where Ceaser gets his ass beat by that other shit-slinger

  • how does the trailer review get more views than the actual movie review

  • noooooooooooo

  • no

  • Amazing movie, i loved watching every second of it, you could always tell that a movie's good when you feel attached to the characters, especially a chimp :3

  • @Gam3rLove 100% agreed

  • @ 2:10 oh yeah I know what youre talking about and I shat bricks.

  • @hosway1992 which part was that? I watched it but I can't remember a specific moment when it gets even better.

  • When you say that the apes wipe us out, they dont, we wipe out our own species

  • i watched and i would defenetly reccomend it to anyone and i would so watch it again! it was a pretty awesome movie :P and the ending might shock you as well!

  • @LinEatsChips Caesar is home

  • Well, it is kind of a reboot and a remake, cos I think the 3rd or 4th Apes movie from the original franchised basically also tells the story of Caesar.

  • one the best but the shortest and most rushed movie of 11.

  • I thought Humans die off from the Virus?

  • @Budgiein87 they do

  • NOOOOOOO!!!!!

  • Out of all the people that they could use to say the famous line about the apes, they chose malfoy

  • @docholidayjr1604 Yeah, I had a problem with that as well. There really is no reason for that line to be in the movie at all, it's fan service gone wrong cos it's way too corny.

  • @dagrimmreepa Without being too much of a spoiler, IMO it was turned into an ordinary line just to be trumped by the new historic line. Now, someone who wonders back to view the originals should still be affected by the classic moment when Heston speaks to the apes for the first time. It will be like a double shot.

  • Yeah, when THAT moment happened I just sat there for a second in the silence and said "holy shit", seriously did not see that coming.Just echoed in my head.

  • just watched it on bluray and im not having regrets of buying it.

  • Very nice movie, Loved the ending, the same cure that made apes smart, killed people.

Movie makers really made me to love the main character, Ceasar, and hope that he'll get what he wants. It was a long time, since I watched a move that had such nice turns and finally turned out pretty interesting and well too. just finished watching it, so wanted to read other opinions, and share mine..

  • great review btw

  • oscar should go to serkis for playing caesar, one of the best performances this year.

  • This movie wasn't what I expected at all. It was great!

  • Saw this last night and I loved it. Great movie.

Only thing I sorta gripe about is how the humans go.

  • So happy that a sequel is in the works for this

  • @shepardN717 What? Really?

  • @Shinyafreak Yeah, it's still in the early stages of negotiations but I'm hoping that they approve this sequel AND Star Trek. If they do make a sequel to Apes I have a feeling that they may have Caesar go up against the other lab ape with the messed up face that killed the executive by pushing the helicopter, idk, but it just felt like foreshadowing whenever you saw them two apes act on scene together.

  • @shepardN717 - Yep, they most certainly will be vying for the role of Alpha in the next one.

  • Did you see the end chip?

  • bad ass movie

  • movie is awesome, gaphics are beautiful, CGIs were well done~ they gotta make a sequel to this man

  • The only thing I hated about this movie was the raw deal the guy next door got. That poor guy got shat on from the start.

  • @bornowl - Karma was getting hold of his ass. He was a prik.

  • caesar is BADASS, he goes (puts on black shades) APESHIT on the humans D

  • I'm terrified of apes so this movie scared the shit out of me. And yet the original Planet of the Apes didn't...da hell...

  • I just saw the movie and loved it
