  • Oh nice video! =)

  • Hi Dr, Can this treatment be done on under eye varicouse veins on the under eye area?

  • My mom actually did this procedure, but for some reason her spider veins just look really bruised now... Maybe the doctor was new at it? But she liked wearing the bandages-- they made her legs look like spider legs ;)

  • @frugalbeauty

    To be exact: spider veins are caused by pressure that weakens their walls. By standing or sitting, the pressure is higher as by walking or lying. The veins wear out. If you have weak connective tissue, overweight or a job that requires standing or sitting for a long period of time, then try to wear a surgical hose (uncomfortable) or walk often and use your leg and feet musculature. Existing spider veins can only be removed by a doctor. Not by cosmetics.

  • Thank you!

  • Hello doctor,I start get spider veins in my late 20s I see doctor about it she said it's to early to you do any treatment just use the cream or lotin for cellulite and since I always use different cream, at the moment I use Nivea Good-bye Cellulite 10 Day Serum, but the spider veins didnt disappear, so my question is I checked with doctor 6 or 7 years ago so which stage is for spider veins to remove? also is this lotin or serum sale in store are they help to I continue?? looking forwar ur answer

  • This is very interesting. how much does this cost? and is it only in one session?

  • Spider veins, Spider veins,

    Does whatever a spider can;

    Spins a web, any size,

    Catches thieves just like flies;

    Look Out!

    Here comes the Spider veins.

  • sounds so simple.....!

  • I need to tell my mother in law about this. :)

  • @frugalbeauty yes, you can get them from standing for a long time but im not sure if any shoe is going to help.

  • I never knew that. Is this procedure costly?

  • Hi Dr Schultz.

    Thanks for another great video, i alway's enjoy watching your little 'Skin episodes'. Can i just ask? Are spider veins the same thing as broken capillaries on the face? If not can they be treated the same way as spider veins to remove them?

  • @amber2508 Spider veins and broken capillaries are two names for the same thing; on the face they are often called broken capillaries and on the legs they are usually called spider veins. Regardless of what they are called, treatment on legs is best done by sclerotherapy while facial broken capillaries/spider veins are best treated by lasers.
