@jacob15005 Not really, but how much are you willing to spend? I would recommend a G&G for a starter gun. If you're willing to spend more, CA, VFC, G&P, and KWA are great companies. Good g&G's are the airsoftgi g4 models.

I only have one thing to say about indoor/ outdoor. the ICS M4. nuff said. I own one, but dont own 2 upper gearboxes, I just have an M100 spring in it, and use it for field and CQB play with the same spring, i get about 150 feet of range out of it, I get decent accuracy and a great rate of fire. AND, its not an mp5!

i like your higher CQB FPS limit, in the UK CQB guns are limited to 328 - 330FPS with the exception of the site i play at where it was 350 FPS, which unfortunately is our limit for outdoor AEGs

They are used most in upgraded guns because of their small size. Plus they can supply more power than a 12 volt battery. Plus they have much longer life.

They are not recommended in stock guns unless you want to be opening your gearbox weekly. Plus they are very dangerous, the have the potential to explode inside your gun. You also have to get custom LiPo chargers.
