Saw Chris play in New York in 2005. He opened for the Olivia Tremor Control. Jeff Mangum was there and sang with the Olivias and did one of his own songs.

This was every bit as awesome as it sounds.

It is amazing who this site drags up. This was not one of the best songs that Chris Knox has written but it is a big shame to now see that the poor bugger has had a stroke and can't even talk anymore because of the stroke. But he still plays a big part in the history of NZ music

An absolutely classic video from the Tall Dwarfs in 1981. Stankler, if you don't like it, go ahead and make something better! My fav bits, the guy getting swallowed by the sleeping bag, and the appearance of a formica beach & table - classic Kiwiana!
