  • 4:48 fail!

  • Engineering degree for you

  • Deltasaur looks like he was inspired by Razer. NICE

  • @KnuxMaster Who isn't??? : P

  • you thould add a solid block in the arena...

  • lol. that sure is fun :D. What a pity I never discovered lego robotic

  • @Rhapsodyas You have now...

  • the replay every 5 seconds is realy anoying.

  • At the end of the vid both robots failed'

  • Maybe make a redesign of inertia, lower to the ground? The idea is really good, and it could work better after a redesign. Thanks!

  • @TheXurol

I tried to make it as low as possible, see Series 5, but then I messed up the drive...

  • where did you buy them from

  • @TheMcrosby

Parts from Ebay, bricklink and the official Lego website and shop

  • where did you buy them from

  • sooo good awesome layout, awesome robots, i bet it would be annoying putting them back together, great setup. 5/5

  • Whoa cool

  • how do you get interia weapon to spin so fast

  • @goldengunner207

    In this series:

M motor > 40T gear > 8T (attached to) 24T. Next series it was driven by an XL motor, which although is slower than the M it had the power to move all the gears quicker. I'm not sure.

  • Awesome. However, a real combat robot would roflpwn them.

  • how do you make the robots weapons move independently???

  • @sparkstriff

Two transmitters and two recivers per competitor

  • I think the idea is great , i love the robots themselfs , they way they move , and the flippers and weapons on them - its great :D

  • @shumpman

    ithanku

  • do u buy some designer packs or do u build them from scratch?

  • @mrdukenukem1

    Completely from scratch

  • echt cooles video =)

  • oh alittle far considering i live in the us but thanks any ways keep making videos they rock!

  • where do you battle i may be get one to cuztimize

  • @rcrunkle

My place, which is in South East London.

  • Inertia is BEASTLY!

  • LOVE deltasaurs design, could you bring him back in the next series

  • @2311blobman

I loved the look of it, but it got trashed again and again, Series 5 was it's last battle...

  • Hey. I'm thinking of building a Lego Robot. What would I need to start off, and if I do go ahead with it, would I enter it into LRW?

  • All you need are Lego's Power Functions and Lego technic (what you need specifically will depend on what you want your robot to be like) LRW is just me, but I will gladly film and fight anyone who wants too.

Eventually I hope lots of people build robots, and soon LRW will be a real tournament!

  • hell ya man. i build robots also. maybe we can make this into a national event someday and have tournaments all around

  • SICK MAN i do this at school and i used mindstorm car thing and its beast. it shoots balls. i custimize it so it shoots faster and harder

  • Nice fights. It would be awesome if you put that crusher on a lifting arm so it could fight like Complete Control.

  • A grabbing-lifter is something I definitly want to try - I don't think a crushing-lifter will in Lego : (

  • Have you ever tried doing a Typhoon 2 design. I'm working on one. For me it is difficult. It would be really cool if you made one.

  • Closest I've come is Inertia. Not sure how to make a full body, also curved, out of Lego, whilst making it very strong and very light.

    Can I see you're progress?

  • @ochayedonald Not yet I'm still working on it but you don't need to make it curved. You have to make it in a kind of pyramid shape. It so far the basic model is quite strong. I dropped it down the stairs and only the clubs on the side fell off. I still haven't found a way of making it light yet.

  • Lol whos pantless in the background at3:27?

  • I can't answer that, but I can tell you "they" where wearing shorts lol

  • hi i like robotwars too

  • where did u get the parts for velocity

  • You'll have to be more specific, I got the parts from all over the place but I can tell you where to obtain certain pieces.

  • well what power functions

  • The power functions I got from the official lego online shop or bricklink. com

Velocity uses 2x M motors for drive, 2x XL for the weapon, 2 recharagable batteries (standard in almost all of my robots) and two receivers.

  • how did u make the wapon of deltasaur

  • It's simply an actuator pushing the arm, very near to the pivot of the arm.

Though, I don't think it's very good, I will need to do more testing as this series didn't really give it a good go.

  • Twister vs. Inertia- THAT would be a fight my friends!

  • your right parts would be everywhere

  • @tourdeforce17 I reckon Twister would win. Inertia's arms look too flimsy

  • OMG 0_o what a shocking heat!! : D cant wait for heat D!!

  • Damn... about the 5th time I've seen this.

I've got such a burning desire to finish a battlebot!!

  • I've a burning desire to finish OFF a battlebot!! I've been busy all week and not been able to film : (

  • how come you didnt use the 321 activate i gave you?

  • Continuity - I don't want to change things like that halfway through a series, I'd save it for the next one

  • those tracks on levitator look very weak are you sure the had the right conecters

  • They're the new style tracks from the Bulldozer, and although I've ripped them apart before with Inertia they're pretty tough. But I didn't have them tightly meshing with the gear-wheel-things and also they have NO grip on wood!

  • great heat, and im very happy about the naming for the crusher { only because i suggested the final name :) }, also im sad because the dinosaur became extinct in the first round so hopefully the will do better in the 5th wars

  • its always one good robot vs one crappy one make em both good love your show

  • In the first fights in the heats it's usually an improved veteran against a newcomer (which are often painfully flawed and largely untested).

    You'll like the semi-finals...

  • 3:54 reminds me of Rameses II in series 2, does anyone agree?

  • Aaah! Yes. I know exactly what you mean!

  • glad to see u see the same way i do :)

  • This series is turning out to be really... I mean REALLY great!

I don't know about you but wouldn't that be cool if we could fight our robots?... Like Doomsday vs. LRW?

I see you also have the new battery packs :O

I don't think I'll be getting any of those any time soon XD

  • I would buy one of the li-pol battery boxes, but they cost too much...

  • I came into some great and generous fortune - which went straight to the batterys!

I'd have to build a harder, better, faster, stronger robot to challenge you Scorge. All mine now weigh under 850 grams!!! D :

That said, hell yeah... ; )

  • WAIT, How would you fight robots if you dont even live in the same country?

  • We can't, but WE CAN DREAM CANT WE???

Perhaps we could do a webcam fight...

  • how the f__ would that work? lol

  • damn i wanted to see more of deltasaur, reminds me of crusher from series 3 vs beast of bodmin

  • :D Best series yet.

  • the first newcommer to win the first battle btw ^^

great heat het and i think it`s the best series already.

  • another great heat! this series seems to be proving that your flippers need a bit of momentum first before they actually work lol. were those stud things on levitator to help traction?

  • They didn't work at all lol, I'm really going to have to do something about that!

Later on in the series I drove the flippers as I knew how to a) make the flipper go down and b) get the best out of them. The semi between Armageddon and Velocity is... fun : D
