Well i thought about getting the extra large model but then i did some research before buying, about the appropriate size drum for the right size hands of the person.

If you measure from the base of your pinkie finger across your palm to the base of your index finger, they say 3-1/2 to 4-1/2 inches is perfect for the Large size drum and 5-1/2 to 6-1/2 inches is perfect for the Extra Large size.

So i fall into the Large size category since mine measured between 3-1/2 to 4 inches.

The djembe you see on the video is the Large version. I'd love to check out the Extra Large in another review!
