hey should iget the Stampede vxl truck or the rustler vxl car? whats faster? And how long does the battery last for before you have to recharge it if its a 3s 20c LiPo ??

the stampede is more for bashing but the rustler is more for racing and the rustler usualy goes a little faster than the stampede and with a 3s i think you can get from 30mins--1 hour im jot shure.

I want to buy the Stampede vxl. i heard if you use 3s driveshafts won't hold for long.just wanna ask if anybody here has same problem?Would the problem be solved if you buy steel differential outputs?

ditch the venom..they burn out and die real fast..i had had one that lasted a month..standard 7.2v 3600 mah fer like 45 bucks.. i bought a reference 4600mah 7.2v and the bitch does wheelies now..only for like 15 dollars more too

i bought a 5000 mah 6 cell battery (7.2v) for 62 bucks and its lasted 5 months so far its a dtx 5000mah 7.2v battery and it works amazingly

i use a racers edge sure charge 1000 battery charger that plugs into the wall with a traxxas connector, it takes around 2 hours+ to charge though :/ but tits worth it i think

I have a Rustler VXL and Brushless Stampede both on 3s 4400mah Lipo.

If I were to put the same wheeles and body on them they would look the same which makes me wonder why they would handle different.

well actually even if you were to trade over the body and wheels the stampede main center part of the frame is physicly lifted much higher over the suspension arms then the rustler. and sense that part houses many of the heaver conponets it raises the center of gravity and makes it more prone to tipping.

The stampede has an angle when the wheels turn just a little more than the rustler does so it reacts a little different

I jumped my stampede off my house! 12-15 foot drop with no damage. They are very tough trucks. If your a good driver and have a good setup in your stampede, there is no reason you could'nt race and win with one.

I have a Traxxas Bandit 22/90 gears with the Trinity Titanite 15T motor... I up graded the motor for the 2.2 Anacondas, Insane torque and still plenty of speed

well its not mine but from what ive seen its a great starter rc. it starts off with enough speed and power to keep you busy and you can always upgrade it later to make it as fast as you will probably be daring to drive. it not completely professional grade but its sure not a simple toy.

In my opinion, it sucks. It was my starter r/c and no matter how I ran it something would always break. Even if you drove carefully and hit nothing, something would go wrong. Just telling you what I think.
