I view Sora as a MAJOR jerk after playing 358/2 Days. Like, Roxas's world is crumbling around him as Sora and Riku are killing everyone he knows (not really loves) until Sora literally like takes over Xion's body (TRANSVESTITE) and gets herself / himself / whatever'sself killed. It's people like Roxas and Axel who receive the downside of Sora's extremist stereotypical crusade against Nobodies, assuming they're ALL bad, which is a lie as black as a Shadow's skin. (To Kill a Mockingbird reference)
Great video, and I enjoyed the song and how you matched the scenes with it, however, I'll have to beg to differ on the Organization Nobodies being hapless victims of Sora's crusade idea.
These Nobodies would: 1) disappear eventually, and 2) were wrecking the worlds with the Heartless, and 3) using the released hearts for their own ends, which as Xemnas demonstrated, was a no-no. Only a few of the Organization wanted to be human again, the rest of them, really did not care.
@HikaruIrving Yeah, after reading the comments this video has gotten all these years, finding out more about Xemnas' plotting and the Org. in general, and doing some more thinking, I've come to at least partly agree with that.
Org. XIII truly was a DISorganization. Most of them were after their own goals, or didn't really give a crap either way. Xemnas wanted a world of his own to dominate, Marluxia wanted to overthrow Xemnas, Saix wanted to take over the Org. with Axel, and etc.
@mayahaya333 In Castle Oblivion, using Naminé to screw with his memory, replicating Riku and making -him- give Sora a hard time, and oh, their leader attacking him in KH1 FM, with the addition of abusing his Nobody and breaking -him- apart even further, and continuing to hunt said Nobody long after he reunited with his original self, is ... plenty of reason to go after the Organization. Not to mention they were kind of destroying the worlds with the Heartless and what have you.
While I think Sora is okay, I think he was a total d*** for just killing Nobodies. His rationale: "LOL they wear black coats and there's a bunch of them and I need something to do on this journey besides angst over Riku so why don't i kill them?"

It was because of Kairi.
Think about it; riiiight before he went back to Hollow Bastion, Sora got the news that Kairi had been kidnapped by a member of the Org. Demyx was the first Org. member he saw upon returning to Hollow Bastion afterward. Now that it had gotten personal for Sora, he couldn't help but take out his rage on a random Org. member, even though said member had NOTHING to do with it.

I LOVE imagining Zexion on stage performing this on stage: Demyx would help with vocals, Marly on drums, Axel on lead guitar, Luxord on bass, Riku on rhythm, and Zexy centre stage with some keyboard. Because he could so say all those lines and play on the keys at the same time xP

I personally hate Sora, before anyone thumbs me down I'll say why. All the organization was doing was killing heartless which were harming people and use's the hearts which would have just wandered off and turned into heartless again so that they could be whole again. Does anyone find that evil. I find that good actually. Sure the methods could be a little harsh sometimes but all the wanted was hearts. To be able to feel, and Sora saw them as a threat and murdered them.

Hmm you raise a point, but it is repeated multiple times in Kingdom Hearts 358 2 days that if a heartless is not killed by the power of the keyblade the heart inside will wander and turn into a heartless again. The only reason Sora returned to normal was pretty much the love from everyone, but there isn't enough love in the world to turn everyone back to normal I guess :(

Actually, Demyx being all sweet and cute was an act. He liked to pretend that he had a heart, because he still remembered how it felt to feel. His tendency to go from lovable to just flat out cold is because he drops the charade.

While I adore the Org. like anyone else, they had it coming. The reason why they were treated terribly by the heroes? THEY WERE DESTROYING WORLDS. And while it may have been to get their hearts back (except not, Xemnas, you lying douche), it still wasn't an exceptable way to go around things.

Ha, yeah, actually, I hated Zexion at first for that very reason. I only started liking him and seeing him as cool after Re:COM was released in Japan.

And to collect hearts, they needed to create Heartless... Which destroy worlds. The more Heartless, the better, so an entire world of Heartless? Pretty damn good deal. Of course, if a world is full of Heartless, chances are it's going to go boom soon. The Organization knew this... And didn't give a fuck. They actively encouraged it.
Technically, they released heartless into world's with the intent that they be destroyed by Sora so they could get the hearts. I don't think they gave a flying f*ck if world's were destroyed in the process, but that wasn't their intent.
This video is quite amazing, the lyrics pretty much went with what actually goes on in those games. When you think about it, what was the *majority* of the organization doing that was really wrong?
They're the reason why I like KH2 and Chain of Memories MUCH better than KH1. The Org. added a maturity and complexity to the series that it didn't possess before, not to mention a hell of a lot more character depth.
I think so too. Kingdom Hearts got kinda boring due to lack of gameplay, voices, and story. Kingdom Hearts II and Kingdom Hearts: Chain Of Memories had all those..gameplay,great voice acting and especially story.

That's half right. The weak-hearted become nobodies as well, because a shell is still left behind. The strong-hearted keep forms similar to what they were before, and the weaker hearts become Dusks, Dragoons, Dancers, etc.

Actually, if a weak heart becomes a heartless, the shell fades into darkness. It's only when a strong heart turns into a heartless that it becomes a Nobody. As for human-shaped Nobodies, they have to have an exceptionally strong heart to be formed. ^^; This is a really late reply, but I just though I should say something.

War on Nobodies? When did it turn into war? Orginization XIII wanted to gain control over Kingdom Hearts so they could be real people, though they were going the wrong way with it, I think.
Chances are the Nobodies will only appear as minor enemies anymore, if they even appear at all. (May be in 358/2 Days, though..)
If there's any "war" going on in these games, it's against the Heartless and Maleficent.
Eh, to be honest, the title of this was just a little witty thing I came up with on a whim, since the song's mostly referring to the Bush Administration's "War on Terror", thus, War on Nobodies.
Anyway, while some of the Org WERE going the wrong way with it, there WAS an atmosphere of anti-Nobodyism among the "good guys"; I hold Demyx up as an example of this. And since racism is present in the "War on Terror", the comparison is apt in that respect, at least.
I believe Roxas and Axel were exceptions. Roxas after he began to awaken Sora's heart (before that he seemed like a perfect nobody. Stoic not really giving a hoot, destructive. I'm not to sure about Axel. I think this was a case of the writers wanting engaging characters without having to sacrifice the story. Axel seemed to be a exception in KH2 in CoM he was a right bastard. Also for all that friendship he was still willing to throw Roxas to the dogs so I don't put much faith in that.
I don't think a nobody can regain their heart unless they come into contact with their somebody. They might be able to grasp the shadow of their emotions (or remember them as it is). Though their heart will remain with their somebody. Kingdom Hearts wouldn't have given them back their hearts though. So they destroyed all those worlds for power because they certainly weren't getting their hearts back.

And yeah, that gave me pause as well, but I think he may have been being realistic, and, to go into a theory of mine, he feared that if he were turned into a Dusk, he'd never get his heart back.
(My theory; the heart that's stolen by Heartless is actually the energy of the heart; with humanoid Nobodies, the physical heart is still there. A Dusk wouldn't have that)
Yeah but that was the designer's fault. They wanted to make interesting engaging villains but wanted to keep the whole "no heart" plot point. Unfortunately they blew it.
Though According to the Word of "God" once a nobody is destroyed they go back into their somebody. Which makes no sense seeing as their somebody was turned into a heartless.
Uhm, well, I've heard that Tetsuya Nomura (the creator of Kingdom Hearts) himself stated that when a Nobody fades away, their soul goes to a kind of "limbo" place, where they wait until the Heartless that stole their heart is destroyed, then their heart will return to them, and they can return to their original form. If you doubt that that can be possible, just look at Sora after he went from human-to-Heartless and back.

I personally hate Sora, before anyone thumbs me down I'll say why. All the organization was doing was killing heartless which were harming people and use's the hearts which would have just wandered off and turned into heartless again so that they could be whole again. Does anyone find that evil. I find that good actually. Sure the methods could be a little harsh sometimes but all the wanted was hearts. To be able to feel, and Sora saw them as a threat and murdered them.

Hmm you raise a point, but it is repeated multiple times in Kingdom Hearts 358 2 days that if a heartless is not killed by the power of the keyblade the heart inside will wander and turn into a heartless again. The only reason Sora returned to normal was pretty much the love from everyone, but there isn't enough love in the world to turn everyone back to normal I guess :(

Yes, a lot of them WERE in the wrong, since they generally fucked things up in the other worlds, but not all of them did that.
Ha, yeah, actually, I hated Zexion at first for that very reason. I only started liking him and seeing him as cool after Re:COM was released in Japan.
Though, MINDrape isn't a violent crime; it just feels like one ;)

They're the reason why I like KH2 and Chain of Memories MUCH better than KH1. The Org. added a maturity and complexity to the series that it didn't possess before, not to mention a hell of a lot more character depth.

That's half right. The weak-hearted become nobodies as well, because a shell is still left behind. The strong-hearted keep forms similar to what they were before, and the weaker hearts become Dusks, Dragoons, Dancers, etc.

Actually, if a weak heart becomes a heartless, the shell fades into darkness. It's only when a strong heart turns into a heartless that it becomes a Nobody. As for human-shaped Nobodies, they have to have an exceptionally strong heart to be formed. ^^; This is a really late reply, but I just though I should say something.

War on Nobodies? When did it turn into war? Orginization XIII wanted to gain control over Kingdom Hearts so they could be real people, though they were going the wrong way with it, I think.
Chances are the Nobodies will only appear as minor enemies anymore, if they even appear at all. (May be in 358/2 Days, though..)
If there's any "war" going on in these games, it's against the Heartless and Maleficent.

Eh, to be honest, the title of this was just a little witty thing I came up with on a whim, since the song's mostly referring to the Bush Administration's "War on Terror", thus, War on Nobodies.
Anyway, while some of the Org WERE going the wrong way with it, there WAS an atmosphere of anti-Nobodyism among the "good guys"; I hold Demyx up as an example of this. And since racism is present in the "War on Terror", the comparison is apt in that respect, at least.

I believe Roxas and Axel were exceptions. Roxas after he began to awaken Sora's heart (before that he seemed like a perfect nobody. Stoic not really giving a hoot, destructive. I'm not to sure about Axel. I think this was a case of the writers wanting engaging characters without having to sacrifice the story. Axel seemed to be a exception in KH2 in CoM he was a right bastard. Also for all that friendship he was still willing to throw Roxas to the dogs so I don't put much faith in that.

I don't think a nobody can regain their heart unless they come into contact with their somebody. They might be able to grasp the shadow of their emotions (or remember them as it is). Though their heart will remain with their somebody. Kingdom Hearts wouldn't have given them back their hearts though. So they destroyed all those worlds for power because they certainly weren't getting their hearts back.

And yeah, that gave me pause as well, but I think he may have been being realistic, and, to go into a theory of mine, he feared that if he were turned into a Dusk, he'd never get his heart back.
(My theory; the heart that's stolen by Heartless is actually the energy of the heart; with humanoid Nobodies, the physical heart is still there. A Dusk wouldn't have that)

Yeah but that was the designer's fault. They wanted to make interesting engaging villains but wanted to keep the whole "no heart" plot point. Unfortunately they blew it.
Though According to the Word of "God" once a nobody is destroyed they go back into their somebody. Which makes no sense seeing as their somebody was turned into a heartless.

Uhm, well, I've heard that Tetsuya Nomura (the creator of Kingdom Hearts) himself stated that when a Nobody fades away, their soul goes to a kind of "limbo" place, where they wait until the Heartless that stole their heart is destroyed, then their heart will return to them, and they can return to their original form. If you doubt that that can be possible, just look at Sora after he went from human-to-Heartless and back.
