As for the comment of singing our national anthem, we should sing our national anthem nice and loud, all the time. People just standing there being quiet during the national anthem, makes me feal like I am at a funeral!

I agree. I'm a Habs fan, also hate the Bruins, but I think that all anthems should be respected because, they don't only represent the team, but the whole country. Vive L'Hymme National :D

As a Bruins fan, I despise the Habs with every muscle fiber in my body, but one thing I would never do is disrespect the Canadian National Anthem, considering that 14 of our players on the current roster, our GM, Coach, and all our HOFers are patriots of the True North, Strong and Free. If you're gonna make fun of a nation, let it be Russia (Lake Placid 1980 and Munich 1972 ring any bells to my fellow US countrymen? I hope so.). Plus, Tim Hortons is pretty damn good.

If you recall, the Canadian anthem was partially booed in Boston earlier in the series. That, combined with displeasure for the war in Iraq, led to the unfortunate and classless response by the Montreal fans. The anthem was loudly cheered in game 6 by the Habs fans.

There has never really been an issue between these two storied franchises since, and living in the US now, I get very angry when anyone decides to boo either of the anthems. Absolutely senseless.

Im not even a ducks fan, I've always been a bruins fan, I just supported the ducks when they owned my town's AHL's team.
