How often do muggings like that happen in London in the daytime? Well, ok. they might have been a target because they came from a bar, and tipsy women in high heels make great targets...but still...who keeps their pocket book in the shopping bag and not their purse?

I didn't like the part where he's grabbing her head like that. It only was a hint of how violently over-protective he is....and of course nearly killing the guy who stole her purse.

Book was ten times better than the movie. Movie was melodramatic, books was more of a suspense/thriller cautionary tale about how an intelligent career - minded woman could be beguiled into an abusive relationship, with an outwardly attractive man.
