honestly i dont really see how people say Bert and Gee stopped being friends cause Gee wanted to get sober and Bert didn't want him to. Gerard got sober in August 2004 and for a while after that him and Bert remained friends, into 2005 and thats supposedly when Bert said they had a falling out. sometimes people drift apart and it sucks, but people play Bert out to be a fucking asshole who only cares about drugs/alcohol which is clearly untrue. whtevs. i love them both. and i find this funny.

But there are two main theories(except the ones you find in fanfiction forums), and that is thar Bert was holding Gerard back. The other one is that when MCR got all famous and shit, they kinda forgot about themselves, and Bertie didn't like that at all, claiming thei lost themselves. That's what Pretty Handsome, Awkward is all about.

So I'd like to say that: in the used's defense-- teenagers DOES sound a lil like achy breaky heart (but a shitload better in my opinion) and in MCR's defense-- no matter what happened between Gerard and Bert, they should at least act like adults about it.
