I heard about Paradiso being an brilliant gig. Sadly i had to let that one pass me by.
Probably financial reasons :) All I remember was that I was very impressd by metallica because of the rawness of there gig. TS was a big disappointment really. A bassplayer banging his guitar with his fist doesnt make for great music.
A week later we went to see Loundness for Japan. That was absolutely amazing.
If you never heard of them I advice you to check the out on youtube.
Yea was awsome. Seen quit a few good bands in that period. Best one was Metallica in Zwaagwesteinde, Friesland the Netherlands. Was in a pub with Twisted Sister. Think there were 200 ppl. Afterwards we had a great beerfest with Metallica. Everything was possibe back then. Nowadays you pay 75 euro's for a gig, beer is 3 euro's, food is crap and all you get in the end is a splitting headache. I really miss the 80sh.
@Aggostino I attended the show of Metallica and TS in Leiden, was also great, but the best Metallica show was maybe in december in the Paradiso. And you're so right about the comment on prices abd quality !
Fuck, you lucky bastard...wish I'd been there also. Strangely, grew up in that time, but in some way missed concerts of Bodine and Picture and still regret that. A reunion is wanted so badly.......

Back then I was a big fan of Loudness, saw them once in Rotterdam, was awesome.

Great memories. Me and the lads on our way to 't Holt in a small hicktown called Deinum, The Netherlands to see Bodine, Picture and Vengence .
Afterwards we had a few drinks with the guys from these bands. Best of times...
