This is a crazy idea, but in Extraordinary Girl, the line "he lacks a carriage in his mind/ like a child left behind", makes it almost seem like Whatsername is pregnant. Maybe that's why she leaves?

wake me up when september ends is not about the rest of the album is about hes father who died so he is said and song for him....billy actualy cried on one concert when he was singing that song but rest is true

thats coo.l i think for 21st century breakdown the setting is murder city. with there ruler No one born on the forth of July and his daughter Gloria. you know kinda the girl next door but she has a boyfriend named Christian and hes like the bad boy and he is an arsonist. get it inferno. and there is so much violence in murder city and Gloria does not like that so she takes the role of peacemaker to try to stop it she brakes up with Christian then he loses everything in the fire g2g i have more

Basically perfect except for Wake Me Up When September Ends. It's not related to the album, it's about Billie Joe's dad dying (in September). I'm not interpreting this, I read an interview about it.

Billie Joe even came out and said that Wake Me Up When Sept. Ends has nothing to do with the rest of the album, it is a song about his mourning for his father, which makes sense because Green Day was coming up with new songs from late august to mid-sept. which is around the time Billie Joe's father died...
