Nirvana was a great band and its o.k. to be a fan but I think its disrespectful to try to poorly copy someone else's sound and pass it off as your own.I am almost positive you are setting yourself up for copyright infringement. Be your own band and write your own music.

@johnnysaidi It's funny how a song starts off sounding like a cross between jaws and Big Cheese and people get all your copying Nirvana... copyright infringement are you having a laugh, it sounds nothing like Nirvana, a band themselfs very guilty of plagiarism, don't get me wrong I love Nirvana, but I also love Killing Joke and the Melvins.

I am not only talking about the obvious fact you ripped of the intro to Big Cheese you also ripped the chorus from Mr. Moustache (to the guy who liked when he screams "i don't like you anyway" buy Nirvana bleach listen to Mr. Moustache track 10 and you'll see that this song is a total rip off). Secondly yes and Nirvana was sued buy killing joke also..... Melvins what nirvana songs sound like the melvins repectfully yours

@johnnysaidi Okay firstly I didn't rip off, I think you mean Nukeateen but what the hey...I think everyone has heard Mr Moustache it's a great song but the similarity is vague you can't really copyright the words "I don't like you anyway" the way it is said is quite different, but each to there own. Nirvana ripped off many songs:

@grungerism o.k. why are you trying to justify what this piece of s%!! band is doing by what Nirvana did the difference is its ok to have a similar riff or a part of a song they are blatantly trying to sound like another band and claim it as an original sound end of story.

@johnnysaidi Well firstly I happen to like the band, they got me into grunge back in the early 90s and was the first band I ever saw live...More to the point, why are you making such a big deal of a band you clearly don't like have a vague similarity to someone else, they just sound like any other 90s british indie band to me. If you want to slag people off, try slagging of people who are not making real music, like all the crud we have in the charts. PS:Nirvana never invented the sound...

@grungerism I guess we should just agree to disagree. To me some things are sacred such as having your own sound and creating something original. PS Of course Nirvana didn't invent indie rock but they certainly are the dog's bollocks....

@johnnysaidi I think I would agree with you both to an extent, however if Nukeateen was not a 90s indie band, which has the same sound as most UK bands of the time (Senseless things, Ned's Atomic Dustbin, PWEI, etc) then I would say the comments were valid, but as they were around at the time, they just sound like any of 90s brit band. I don't think this sounds enough like Mr Moustache though, but the intro is very Big Cheese, but the bass player did admit this and It's not really a big deal.

@LittleVixen9 I am a fan of all those bands you just named and none of those bands would do what this band has done I am sure of it. The first thing I can find about this band is 98. And when I saw the greebo song I thought it was just funny that they were trying to do what they were doing still didn't bother me. However when you take 2 songs by another band and cram them together and try to pass it off as your own that is wrong.

@SuperMegabar I think we all know there are plenty of songs that came before Teen Spirit that sound very similar. The fact is having similarities is not ripping of it's being influenced...ripping off is far more like what Oasis did with there first album ie T. Rex etc...

I happen to be a huge Nirvana fan, these similarities don't change my opinion of the band in the slightest.

@johnnysaidi Wow...Okay so as I said the intro came from Jaws and I've said we realised it sounded a bit like Big Cheese, it takes up 7 seconds of the track, it's hardly a big deal. As for the chorus, never really thought about it, I think it was from a Superman 2 quote, I guess it does a bit, wouldn't say it was a total rip off. With our sound, we play what makes us happy, if people like it great, if they don't, they don't, the tracks nearly 20 years old we hardly gonna worry now. Thanks anyway
