I happen to have a similar one with a drop point. Same issues with that too! It just lays in my collection drawer somewhere. Just not a users blade in any way.
I hated this knife, Horribly built and not worth what I paid, Actually, I have not been impressed with Schrade as a whole and since they moved their manufacturing to China I will not buy from them. Many folks complained of tips braking off on the large lockbacks and they don't hold an edge. Sorry Schrade but I'm goin' with Buck.
I actually own the smaller version of this knife (purchased in 1996) and still use it to this day. It is nowhere near as flimsy as the one you're reviewing.
oh boy i love this series. perfect. i had a pakistan buck 110 copy. when the pivot came too loose i use to lay it on the ground and hit it with a hammer. that would tighten it for a week or two. lol. and i tried to learn my sharpening skills on it several times. oh boy that was such abuse.
@Valerieannleeh Yeh I really like the built in retention lanyard concept. Haha I'm pretty well over the pain of this knife totally sucking. I think I bought it about 15 years ago. :D

I like the mechanism but the blade sucks. If I were you I would just take off the handle scales and put a different blade in lol ;-)
