SignBand A give them $100K to tour with Single does not sell well, crowds are mediocre. RESULT : Band owes $90K, BAND legally has to fold under name so to not incur those costs.MY knowledge is 15yearsold ask any Band in Australia who were signed what the contract was and THEN you will know why many bands disappear.

@hardyboyzrko Are you saying Baby Animals had as much success in their native Australia as they did here in the US (1 AOR hit that failed to crack the Billboard Hot 100 pop singles chart & no charting albums)? I just find that hard to believe. Usually the norm is that a band/artist has much more success in their native country than anywhere else. I heard "Painless" was an instant Aussie pop smash hit. If you have at least 1 Top 40 pop hit then people DO like your music. BA were snubbed in US.

And yes they did have quite good success here and with the great Pub Music Live scene that was present here they had an enormous following

@bucky468 I guess that's because back in the early 90s there was a shred of decency (although declining) in the music industry. Today, there is no decency, so anything goes. Thank goodness for all the great music of the past and for You Tube to possibly educate the younger generation.
