Strange - there was a guard standing right there and he didn't say anything. I think I read in the brochure that it was allowed in that gallery.

I know you can't take pictures in like the Canadian gallery and any of the temporary exhibits.

Maybe you got stuck with a fucked up guard, or they changed the rules in like two weeks or something.
