Your quoting of Matthew 19, wherein Jesus quotes Genesis and the one man/ one woman standard, what would that say about the many Biblical characters who obvisously did not adhere to said standard? One man and one woman doesn't seem to be as big a deal to God as it does to you.

Your unsupported comment about Jacob aside, there are plenty of non-monogamous biblical characters God seems to have no problem with. Lot offers his daughters to strangers and then has sex with them himself?
