there's no romantic feeling about it. it's just that corad is being good to yuuri and so yuuri is being good to conrad too. besides conrad is his uncle and he took care of her mother when she's about to give birth to him. :)

i think conrad takes care of yuuri because his soul is julia's he promised to protect it just like adelbert he began to protect yuuri when he heard that yuuri's soul wwas julia's
