obsessing and constantly reliving the sorrows of the past is self-defeatists. We must learn from past tragedies not be defeated by them by allowing them control, especially not to the point where we become delusional and defensive to every outside person who criticizes.

The CCP has used it's media to present a one-sided illusion. The primary obsession, besides rule and power, is of its own survival over the needs of its people- over humanity. In order to do that it has purposefully increased "Patriotism" through a constant barrage of disingenuous rhetoric. They purposefully made everyone reactive and ultra-sensitive to outside criticism so that the common person would confuse criticism of policy with criticism of 'country and therefore the people'.
