  • Your VCR head needs cleaning! lol! I miss the 80's!

  • @BallieBallBunny This is among the cleanest of my aunt and uncles beta tapes (not VHS) in regards to the tracking.

  • God whats up with the hair in the 80's.....

  • @MattTheSayan On the camera part I COULD NOT agree more. We wouldn't have to pay extra money to get the photos out of the camera! People are asses. They just want us to pay more so they dismissed instant cameras :(

  • dude this is great haha

  • hey every body its uncle Ben ! 7:08

  • 3. BILL HICKS

  • That Pizza Hut building is beautiful. I don't want more pulp in my orange juice (if I drinked orange juice, that is. I like it but it gives me a rash. Is "drinked" a real word?). They seriously need to make a practical, well-made, high-quality digital camera with the option of printed out good-sized copies of photos without using some "portable" (my ass) printer dock that has to be carried separately and takes a minute to turn-on. Your tapes should be in the Library of Congress or something.

  • minute maid orange juice, nobody squeezes juice the way we do

  • I came here to look through these old commercials to reassure myself that I didn't remember any commercials with these girls like they have now. Every commercial now has some dumb girl who talks like she's got a cork in her ass and hasn't farted in 20 years.

  • the 80s was so simple

I was I was born in the 70s

  • I'm pretty sure I've seen an ad where Dr. J now endorses Dr. Pepper (as part of their "Trust me, I'm a doctor" campaign, which is kind of similar to this ad). Given Cosby's long ties to Coke, I'm betting we won't see him switch over.

That family lost a lot of their bargaining position when the little girl screamed "That's our house!" Probably shouldn't say you want it before you hear the cost.

Thanks to that drunk driving ad, I was scared to clink glasses for years.

  • these are cute lol

  • You can't beat the pants of an 80's jingle.

  • @kraftdinner18 Then you good sir/mam/other don't know what you are missing,. A great thincrust baked in a stoneoven is truly something to enjoy.

  • That was so sweet when he picked his little brother up... :-) 9:00

  • Ahh the eighties, when times were simpler, people were friendlier, and when nobody had to worry about a lawsuit for having a bunch of people running around in swimsuits. Can I go back there please?!?!

  • @armuan1 I agree, now there are seems like every where you go there are lawsuits.

  • ah back when pizza hut and the others had stretchy cheese mozzarella compared to now, most places use the provalone blend of cheese, not as good... i miss the stretchy cheese!!

  • How ironic - back then Sears and Kmart were competing against each other, and now they're teamed up...

  • @texacobigred42

I think this was back before Walmart began to make head-way into their markets.

  • Wow... just about like a Time Machine..... Love those Flashbacks!

  • Huh?? They had cd players in the early 80's??? 00:04 ... I thought cd's weren't really known until the late 80's.. I was born in 86 so of course I wouldn't know all of this.

  • @ATLien333 They first showed up around '84, but many people still stuck to buying records for some time after that. Finally caught wind by late '80s, and by '92 you couldn't even buy records anymore.

  • I love your 80's commercials. so glad, you put them on youtube. Brings back lot of memories, when i was kid.

  • i'm a big fan of all things 80s, including the commercials. looking at these commercials takes me back to the decade of the rubixs cube, e.t., and many more!! thanks a lot!!

  • Doublemint without aspartame. When realtors wore funny jackets. Unison... Where the list of side effects?

  • There were cd players in 1984?

00:08 My parents had that gigantic stereo in their bedroom.

  • @kari00ws6 Yes. In 1982, the first player in the market was in Japan and in 1983 they were available in the U.S. and other countries.

  • 7:09 This is so strange I did the exact same thing. It didn't end very well, first there was no camera and the people throwing the party didn't know me

    I was asked to leave.

  • 2 Ernie Anderson sightings here! He might as well have been not only the voice of ABC, but the voice of the 1980s!

  • If those people in the michelob commercial were still that young today, they would probably be on that show Jersey Shore. BTW, love the jingles from the 80s'.

  • That Sear's commercial is totally 80s'.

  • The Other Camera like no other camera???? What genius came up with that??

  • Liptom Make soups in my country we pnly have lipton teas

  • ah, back when we honored our tennis stars with namesake shoes...god, we loved tennis stars back then!!

"Jessie"...a little ahead of its time. Psychological profiler show? Innovative for 1984!

9:46 welcome to the best parts of my childhood.

  • @RoxyAlexander A little too ahead of its time. Apparently, it was cancelled by November.

  • This is the best collection of 80's commercials that I've ever seen! And thanks for posting the Bob Beamon commercial 8:08 because that was one of the most heart-touching commericals in history since it was played during the Olympics when Carl Lewis was attempting to break his long jump record.

  • in the michelob ad, it sounds like he says "sun, sand and sex." but it's "check" lol

  • "tomato onion soup mix" sodium overload

  • wow, i remember that DUI PSA

  • Nice.. 5 days before I was born.. I miss the 80's :(

  • Seriously, Lipton Tomato Onion Soup mix is right up there with the volume that had microwavable stuffing....wrong wrong wrong

  • the gold coat was used in the movie WarGames with Matthew Broderick his character's mother wore it.

  • I miss the Old days of the Boom Box earphones and tape recorders its now replaced with the little Iphone.

  • Coca-Cola and Kodak Film. All you needed was Jell-O pudding to complete the Cosby trifecta.

  • i miss spunky landline phones

  • I was born in '85 but I love these commercials.

  • Dr. J and Dr. C should do a Dr. Pepper commercial today.

  • @AnnacondaVice Dr. J did do a Dr. Pepper commercial within the past year or two.

  • I love your compliations, but I think the best thing about them is the old PSAs. The alcohol glasses crashing into each other was a classic I must've seen a thousand times a kid.

Think you'll ever go through the vault and make a video of only PSAs?

  • Yeah, I've thought about doing "best of'" volumes before. Maybe once I run out of new material to post...

  • dont you dare speak about running out of material ..

  • Don't worry. I'll be posting two volumes a week for at least the next six months... And there's a lot of stuff I haven't even gone through yet.

  • You rock!! Can't thank you enough for your efforts.

  • ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh yeahhh! love these old commercials, would love to see a "best of" saturday morning commercials

  • That Pizza Hut ad made me miss when every family owned a wood paneled Station Wagon. I miss Station Wagons. :(

  • Converse must have had alot of models in the 80's besides Chuck Taylors. I didn't know they had that many shoe models. Yet again, I was born in 1994, so unfortunately I never lived the 80's. I wish it was that right now, everything is still the same, all our houses, cars etc, but the calender reads January 1, 1980 so that it would be the 80's all over again so that I would know what it is like to live the 80's.

  • Yes, despite what some hipsters would have you believe, Converse makes more than just Chuck Taylors. A quick look at their website shows they still make many models of track & tennis shoes that don't look much different than the "Jimmy Connors" model.

  • "It's our house!"

So Pizza Hut is trying to make us believe that kids, if given the choice, would WANT to eat pizza? I don't know if I buy it...

  • Pizza Hut is that one pizza that you can only eat every once in a while. It tastes good the first slice, then tastes worse than shit the second.

  • orange grease sponge

  • The only thing I get from Pizza Hut is their pasta and breadsticks. I almost always get pizza from Dominos.
