@CROMATICTIC It is Winter and (of course) ancient Lakonia, where the Sparta exist even now.The climate changes from period to period but the Winter is always Winter, especially in mountainous places.Even in Greece can snow.

@CROMATICTIC Do you live near Split? I live in the capital of (the real) Macedonia,here in Northern Greece, Thessaloniki.Here is more easily to snow than in South Greece.
@CROMATICTIC Oh, i see. Here in Greece there is the biggest population of wolves in European continent. Some woods in Greece are almost like the ancient times. For example in the "Elatia" forest in Drama (eastern Macedonia in Northern Greece) exist even now huge trees,bears,wolves,wild pigs,a lot of birds,reptiles,frogs,lizards etc. and much snow at Winter time.
@LeonAmarantos we have bears and wolves in croatia, but not where i live couse there is not enough forests. Are you sure? What about Scandinavia, Russia, Baltic countries ?
