  • Thnx allot, u make it easy (;

  • Thanx good lesson easy to understand

  • capo

  • when it goes stande up beside the fire place he does GMajor then when it goes take that look from off ur face i play G# bar chord

  • 0:38

  • Sholud be A flat dim at 1:42

  • What Noel actually does for the "mystery chord" is slide his G up one fret, so you get 430044.

  • @Bruinsma1987 its actually (430300)

  • the chord u dont know is a Ab diminished

  • How did you play the Fm? the Ultimate Guitar site is telling me to play it differently.

  • Fm is 1st and 2nd string 1st fret.

third string 2nd fret and 4th string 3rd fret.

you're probably looking at F not Fm, which is a bar chord.

  • The chord you don't know should be an E7. Or G#dim. Similar chords.

Incidentally, if you go from a C through a C/B to the Am in the verse it's what Noel does live as well.

  • Brilliant.

  • The chord u didnt know should be an E. try it. it sounds so better

  • cè bisogno di lezioni x imparare don't look back ???

  • helped me loads m8 :D

  • your really not playing the middle bit right, he plays fmaj7 033210 then plays Fm as a barre chord. the strange chord after the G isn't a weird D its 430044

basically a G but he slides the whole thing up a fret, trust me watch an live performance and it will be that. :)

  • nice lesson by the way the chord you dont know is Ddim

  • ur videos are the best on the net for actually showing how i'ts done, instead of a video of sum1 just play the song like all the others do!

  • Thank

     you

  • hi. your guitar playing is pretty good, so i dont understand why you play the "fake" F major, i mean without the barre on first fret. did you injur your hand or something? +your G is also not played normally...

  • noel uses that type of F alot

  • That chord is different but sounds almost the same and also is used alot by alot of guitarists. It fits in better as well than playing the F bar chord, so really in some ways its better than F major and isnt 'fake'(Its called Fmajr7 btw). I agree with you on the G2 chord though, he should use his 5th and 4th finger to make it easier :)

  • i can't thank you enough!

    great job.

    cheers from chicago

  • good job, thats gona take me ages to learn haha

  • me 2

  • really years?? just practice dude luck

  • I have been trying to figure out this for sometime now. Thanks for the wonderful lesson though.

  • finally a lesson

everyone does a video of them playing the song and a lot of them cant sing and its really annoying

thank you for doing a lesson

  • very cool lesson! thanx

  • what guitar is it your using, and the chord you dont know seems to be something like a D7 or am7 im not sure =) good song though

  • Thanks. It's Mexican Fender strat, through a Digitech RP250 on Acoustic setting into a small Park practice amp

  • sweet, i use a fender strat, need one of those digitechs lol

  • Awesome! Thanks

  • nice one, i love that song, nice and slow lesson, sweetness =)

  • thank you so so much...very helpful!

  • pretty good!

  • could you do any other Oasis songs? That would be cool. Maybe some that aren't the super popular ones like Wonderwall. thanks

  • That weird chord in the bridge can be played many different ways. However you play it, the name of the chord is E/G#. You could just play an E while the bass plays a G#.

  • Is that a Strat you're playing?

  • Is that a Strat you're playing?

  • hey, good, on the bridge tho, the second chord "the one you dont know" sounds better as a G#/E (4x2100)

    Try it :)

  • In the part "start a revolution..." what is the chord shape for f minor?

  • Hi Nice video! I have been trying to learn. But can't get the strumming sounding quite right. Chorus seems to work well with a d/dudu type strum pattern. Would it be possible for you to give the strumming patterns your using for the pre-chorus?

    Many thanks, Jamie.

  • thank u!!

    cheers from spain :)
