  • It was VERY hot that day. These storms did move into IL later. I followed them back.

  • They posted a watch box up by MN border so I headed up that way but storms blew up back where I started from so I had to double back.

  • I was located at Hwy 3/Hwy 63 at the time it was tearing up Parkersburg and experienced debris in the air from there to Oelwein. I wanted to get south of the track, just south of Hazleton, but the EF3 that decimated parts of southern Hazleton was rain wrapped and I just happened upon the damage path. I was videotaping the storm, but did not realize it was in there.

  • I saw another video from someone in the same area and it turns out I may have indeed been catching the tornado, but it was not recognizable. In theirs, there was a brief lightning that highlighted the edges and it must have been at least a mile wide and did not even look like a tornado.

  • i was in my baseent for about 1 hour total that day lol i was in cerro gorrdo i was sorta scared by the the storms but after they all passed we went to applebee's

  • Have you videoed the category 5 that I just heard about today by people from Iowa who recounted the event to me today? Oh my God, what has happened since you and your puppies were awaiting the May 25 tornado in your basement?

  • you are officially my role model. I want to chase storms so badly!!!! My mom says it is too dangerous...

  • There is danger, but when you study up and gain some experience, you can be reasonably safe.
