The MTA put a friggin moving walkway in Jamaica Station. Why? The money could've been used for better train service. People can walk 50 feet easily & don't need a moving walkway.
Trains can do reverse movements, if im correct the driver can drive from any end. Depending on which way the train is facing for example if train terminates the driver would walk to end of train and start the next trip where the end becomes front.
The esclator ramp must be new. It wasn't there when I visited the station this past March, but other then that, it's exactly how I remembered it to be.
I have a tough time finding a seat when transfering at Jamaica! It can be 2am or 2pm, most of time its extremelly difficult.
