I still have G&W gallery 4 just by watching this video i just wanna play it again! u forgot 2 mention the other game and watch classics in the museum like "Tropical fish, Mario's Bombs away, Bomb sweeper, Ice climber, Safe Buster, Life Boat and Zelda plus a bunch others that have a modern version!!
@professersex club.nintendo.co m/2010-elite-reward.do (copy and paste this in your browser). The platinum reward is a Super Mario figurine (Has Mario, Luigi, etc) and the gold reward is just a calendar.
@MickAndCkVids It's from a rewards program by Nintendo. It used to be called My Nintendo but they changed it to Club Nintendo (since that's the name of Japan's rewards thing). Basically you have to register your Wii & DS games to a Club Nintendo account. After you get so many points, you can order the Game & Watch Collection. And now, they even have a Game & Watch Collection 2.
cool u have a gaming blog too? me to but nobody seems to come to it im gonna wait til next year to get game and watch collection 2 so i can get to platnium status and get that game i wonder how crappy game and watch 3 is gonna be and i wonder how many game and watch collections there are gonna be :/
I think the originals look better. The new versions don't add anything to the game play, and it's boring seeing Mario and Yoshi and Princess Peach in games that had more of a variety of people and animals in. At least Nintendo didn't do a George Lucas though - they're not trying to airbrush the originals from history, just give another option if you want it. Thanks for the review!

I think if they include any remade versions in the package they should extend them into bigger games though. Making the graphics better just makes you wish you weren't playing a single screen game about tossing pancakes in a kitchen. The original, untouched versions will be on there anyway for nostalgia's sake.
30th Anniversary? Nintendo's been around WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY longer than that, my friend. Nintendo started their business in the 1800s as a card-trading company.
I never knew that. When I first learned about the first Game & Watch Gallery game on Game Boy (through a newspaper ad) I figured I would be watching something. Like a show on the Game Boy, LOL. How was I supposed to know then? lol
That's kinda sad. You shouldn't pass up on something that took along time to reach us! Nintendo Club has a lot of unique stuff you cannot buy anywhere else... I see no point in not taking advantage of this since you're already buying Nintendo games anyway. Yeah. The Game&Watch was a cruel gimmick from Nintendo, and not everything is great. But that doesn't mean you HAVE to buy it! If you're interested in anything this year? Just look forward to next year's Club ^_^
Typos: "Club Nintendo", and "you're NOT interested" ^_^'
Stuff I couldn't mention: If you don't wanna use your Coins this year just hold off until next year's opening and keep saving up for something you want. Nintendo doesn't reset Coins, so no need to rush things. And even if you can't find anything next year, you still get something special from Nintendo for reaching "Gold" or Platinum" in your Coins savings account (this does reset for next year's Club Nintendo) either way it's a win win

I'm not a fan of nintendo's newer stuff, the last nintendo console I truely liked was the gamecube. I don't play on consoles very often and REALLY dispise nintendo as a company.
People liked the Gamecube? Are you kidding me? No offense, but the Gamecube was the most overlooked console in the last console generation. Mainly because of a certain former president who was more or a less a old douche. Sure the Gamecube had some good games, but Nintendo is finally getting back on it's feet in my opinion. Regardless if the Wii's library does have a lot of shovel ware, it's still so much better than the Gamecube.
The wii is a much bigger success, but it could be the most boring console I ever played other than the psp. The gamecube was a console with a controller than didn't make people look retarded while playing on it.
I have the Game and Watch Ball

I agree with you 100% about the collection on DS club nintendo. Easily all the game and watch games could have fit on a DS cart so thats a rip off.
I'm happy that 3DS e-shop now has the game boy game for $3

What are you playing those Game & Watch Gallery games on? A gameboy micro?
toasty100 11 months ago
@toasty100 G&WG1 was played on a Super Game Boy (because it gave the game more colors) and the rest of the games were played on a Game Boy Player.

Maybe they were just making the G&W Collections to warm us up for the ones that are coming out for DSiWare.

Nintendo should make a complete collection of these games to celebrate their 30th anniversary.

Yep, what the G&W had that the Tiger LCDs didn't have was an internal clock. Hence the name Game & Watch.

True, I'd forgotten this too. When you weren't playing them they basically turned into a clock with a demo of the game running.

Especially Super Mario Bros.
