I checked my local store and they didn't have any fertilizer with the 20-10-10. I checked all. What brand fertilizer would have those magical numbers? I live in Stockton, Ca by the way.

What a bozo.
On a lawn, it almost forbidden to put phosphorus on. yet this "expert" recommended a mixture with 10% phosphorus. Unbelieveable.
Yeah, I'll listen to an irrigation company for how to grow better lawns!???

Um, I'm really not trying to get into a fray here, but aren't you a irrigation guy? Or, more appropriately a "fertigation" guy?
What's your basis for the "practically forbidden" comment? I know there's disagreement, but "practically forbidden" suggests that the industry has more or less settled on your point of view.
Just curious as to your position on this one.
