  • I always end up breaking ribs.......

  • this is the updated CPR that ive watched....more comprehensive and detailed of compression.

  • parabéns aos editores deste vídeo, ótima qualidade.

  • umm apparantly this video is boring to my husband who is playing video games, I guess they need to make learning how to save someone's life more entertaining for video game players

  • what about gives two rescue breath first before chest comp.???

  • NOT look, listen and feel....

    C-A-B

  • @zyrstn she did check for breathing but no pulse.

  • I'm pretty sure I'm NOT going to put on latex gloves and get an oxygen mask when someone is dying in front of me...

  • she never check for pulse, and also before the first 30 compression 2 breaths was supposed to be done for better result, making sure that the chest rise after each breaths.

  • have to say this...im Advanced Life Support Certified and Basic Life sUPPORT certified....YOU DON'T CHECK FOR BREATH SOUNDS AND DO CPR...SHE DIDN'T EVEN CHECK FOR A PULSE...AND SHE DIDN'T CHECK FOR BREATHING...

  • That AED voice along with the soundtrack starting at 3:37 makes me think of a EMS-version of Robocop.

  • Everybody should learn CPR and basic first aid.

  • Excelent. As an MD and Certified Instructor Trainer I teach my students this technic additionaly to the AHA 2005 Guidelines.

  • mostly CPR doesnt work

  • I love how corny these CPR videos can be. However, this video was very accurate.

  • As an CPR/AED instructor and Paramedic, this is probably one of the best videos on CPR! Well done!

  • 60% of Healthcare providers have a hard time finding a pulse. Check responsiveness, call 911 and get an AED, Open AIRWAY, check BREATHING for 10 seconds, if they aren't breathing, thier probably DEAD, start chest compressions...push HARD, push FAST. If possible give 2 breaths after every 30 compressions, if not continue with non stop chest compression. When an AED arrives, attach it CPR buys time, until an AED arrives!

  • Guys, 2 kisses of life after every 30 compressions!

  • I know what you mean brandon713, I too was in a scary situation, and no one would help me lift his kneck cause the clasp of the gold chain was up behind his head and I didnt just want to 'pop' the chian off his kneck. That was just scary, especially when he was starting to wake up!!

  • @lebrandon713 i hope you never need someone to do CPR on you. And if you do i hope they do the same to you instead of saving you life ass hole.....

  • i seen it hapan att laybay in donton hamton wass depaber aivbol wan tird get aiss to it sucty gord say hi pot on show get on yo way i sid no sumon eys sen to cald 911 shaning glass on cabnat gab unt suteygord cold cops cops shod up ems sad not poton sow rell thing wasimg me back glass gating aiss to it i going a funol soves he livd to toll it napol polteick sod not way of lift

  • Planeguy13 you win a prise, I am an EMT and a cell (to call 911)is just as importante as a Defib.

NOTE: only dead people get copmression cpr.

If you feel a neck pulse don't push, if you don't then push.

  • So before starting CPR do we check for a pulse? Ive read conflicting instructions on it. If we feel a pulse but no breathing do we just do rescue breaths? I'm confused! But I'm sure the 911 operator would be able to help me in an emergency though.

  • Yes, check for a pulse. If there is a pulse (but they're not breathing) do rescue breaths. If there is no breathing, and no pulse then do CPR.

  • Standards have changed for the lay person. They have found that checking for a pulse is a "time waster" both in the hospital as well as at home. After look, listen and feel for breaths you start CPR. Everyone with questions should be looking for free community classes in their area. The health department offers them free once a month in my city.

  • @rocknloretta You are wrong, if there is pulse no CPR is necessary. Is no pulse is found them do CPR

  • Well this is easy for someone that can get to a defibrillator within minutes but what if you are at home?

  • I am not a doctor or EMT but, as I understand, you are supposed to call 911 and continue CPR until the EMTs arrive.
