This is obviously false, because SGI is not a cult and that is what most people dont understand, you need actual proof before falsely acusing someone for commiting an illegal act. Instead of wasting your time following this ridiculous video, why don't you try out and study Nichiren Buddhism or yourselves, be the change in your life, dont worship and wait for the change to come to you because it wont.

I became a member about 3 months. I love chanting and in particular the Lotus chanting. I have find that in any organization, there are going to be controversy over money, power and prestige. "He without sin let him cast the first stone". The fact is the message and not the messenger. The truth is that is not the man that we worship, but to practice the truth according to Daishoni. If Ikeda were guilty, then have faith that Karma will settle it, in this life or the next. If you do not like the SGI - or do not agree with their methods like myself - do not think their focus is true, etc... you would be better served (to anyone!) in practicing the true Dharma and not wasting your time slandering or bickering. That is lower world mentality, and has nothing to do with the Lotus Sutra. Stop now all of you!

I am also an ex-Gakkai member. I know how this organisation operates. I am a practitioner of Nichiren's Buddhism, but solely as an independent! They have in my opinion descrated the Daishonin's teachings beyond belief! (Just as the priesthood of NST are setting themselves to be venerated as the "True Buddha" themselves nstead of their real purpose as "Custodians" of the Tradition) , Ikeda is doing the exact same thing! I am sorry, but the only "Master" I serve (OR follow) is NICHIREN Himself!

You need to ask what Daisaku Ikeda does for humanity???!!! OH MY GOD!! Are you on the same planet as everyone else??? It's perfectly plain to see that this man has dedicated his entire life to mastering Nichiren Daishonin's Buddhism and teaching it correctly to others. He has been to prison for his beliefs, supported his own mentor at the cost of his own health & fought his heart out for peace.... and so continues to this day....
