I think Mr. Lipton should interview members of The Actors Studio that are not necessarily famous or movie stars because I believe students would relate to the person who is not famous but who worked hard at his craft, auditioned and passed through the grueling process in gaining admission to the studio and who is a working actor because becoming famous or a star isn't in anyone's control but working hard is.

First and Foremost, Lipton was a dancer and writer. But to say that he never made it as actor is preposterous. Making it does not mean fame & fortune, it means success. During the fifties and sixties he was doing quite well for himself and still acts even today. (He had a recurring role on Arrested Development)

How hard is screen acting anyways? You can do the scene over and over to perfection. And meanwhile you sit in your trailer doing blow and playing video games waiting to be called on set. It's not about being easy or hard. It has to do with charisma. Arnold has the body, face, accent and style. I can't define it. Some men are born great, some achieve and some have it thrust upon them. I think that's how it goes.

@irishbluejay : yes, but have you personally seen hollywood stars acting on broadway? some do well, (usually the ones who started in the theatre and have theatre training) but usually its just a producers' scam for hype and ticket sales, and in my opinion all together bullshit which pulls down the standards of broadway.
