A quick correction though: ApoC2 binds to lipoprotein lipase located in the endothelium, not adipocytes.

    thanks

  • Since total cholesterol=hdl +vldl + ldl ( why they don't include idl, who knows). And they can cheaply measure hdl, tg's and total cholesterol. They calculate one's ldl using friedewald eqn. ie. ldl=TC-hdl-vldl. When the tg's are btn 100-400mg/dl, vldl=tg/5 hence LDL=TC-HDL-TG/5

  • Thank you so much! Extremely extremely helpful
