I sincerely hope you are a teacher because I learned more from these four videos you put up and anything my professor has taught all semester. Awesome job and thank you! =)
I'm a med student, and every time I come across cholesterol and LPL and need a refresher on their mechanisms, I just come to watch your videos (they make the material make more sense :) )
I think I fell in love with you :D Thanks so much, you are amazing teacher and you really helped me before my exam... Im sending my regards to all med students, good luck with your exams...
I studied this using a text book for 5 hours yesterday, made literally no sense to me. I watched your 5 minute videos and I understand it completely. Thanks man
Wow! Barebones, handcrafted video but no less informative than those slick ones on high budget. Excellent work. Much appreciated by this lifelong learner.
PLEASE DO INFORM IF THERE R SIMILAR VIDEOS FOR PHYSIOLOGY N OTHER COMPLICATED MEDICAL TOPICS.....please .....this was extremely useful....keep up the good work......this makes medicine more fun n exciting to learn
My gosh! Thank you so much for this lecture. I am so awed. You make life in medicine bearable and actually very interesting. Your lectures and illustrations have helped me a lot. Thank you for sharing. Again, in one of my posts, I requested for you to do the USMLE 1 and 2 Q&A via youtube. I know it can be done because you are you, you have the skills and talent to teach.
I wanted to say that you are very gifted! I wish i could explain and draw like you....it is nice to have people like this in the world. I am a medical technology major and i needed to know this for my clinical chemistry. If all my classes were like this I would do excellent! Thanks again.
Since total cholesterol=hdl +vldl + ldl ( why they don't include idl, who knows). And they can cheaply measure hdl, tg's and total cholesterol. They calculate one's ldl using friedewald eqn. ie. ldl=TC-hdl-vldl. When the tg's are btn 100-400mg/dl, vldl=tg/5 hence LDL=TC-HDL-TG/5
Did you take these notes in class while the professor was lecturing? If so, how are they so neat? Please teach me sir.

Hey! I love the videos.
A quick correction though: ApoC2 binds to lipoprotein lipase located in the endothelium, not adipocytes.
