i feel for you guy who lost his GTO when i was 16 i my first car was a 1966 GTO TRI Power super T10 car and they fn towed it away that's ok cause now i have a 1964 GTO i will post it in a few minutes
read this and tell me your thoughs !! i had a 1966 gto with a tri power 389 was an animal for the time in 1967 i pulled the motor and put in a tri power 421 with some mods done to the heads and engine after i got it all done and running like a beast some low life mother fucker stole my baby .
wow! only if they still sold these cars and other cars with 350 big blocks in dealers brand new, but what would it be worth? nothing because then to many ppl will buy them. :( and it wont be a classic :O
This is a beautiful car, there is no doubt about that. I would've rather seen it all original though. My grandfather had one, he bought it brand new in late 64.
damn nice man i have a 66 gto i been working of for a few years fresh paint this year went with a small block chevy tho pontiac parts are so exp still have the engine that came out of it did not have the tri power on it so i dont know if its a 389 need to run the numbers i guess but the sb 350 i built has some balls to to it nice car man hats off
Nice car. Although it's full of aftermarket performance items the remaining oem equipment like the am radio and dash instruments really keep a connection to the original car. And a ragtop to boot. Mighty sweet ride.
built 455, tremec 5 speed now, dana 60, baer brakes and hydroboost, all tubular front suspension with coilovers, oh driven all summer long an runs 12.3s.. probably the nicest car ive ever seen no details been left out
