this looks like a terrible version of ultimate alliace/x-men legends but they made it a massive hero playing field based on the graphics i see, this game will not be so great. and there are many glitches i see in this game.

@nicolasinfire yes player vs player is just you fighting otehrs with your character vs theirs. There will be game modes for the pvp like capture the flag and other objective stuff like that. O'm not sure if ther will be a deathmatch though im not sure about that yet.

the groundsmash moves look pretty average jen anderson needs to improve on them aswell as roughing over the edges when picking up objects the melee attack when your hero smashes it on the ground it doesnt look solid but otherwise this game is gonna be unbelieveably fun to play

Yeah this video is last years, view the newer vids you'll see a difference. Right now they are actually working on this kinda thing. Flaws that people have spotted so they are making the game good, rather than overload it with crap and the game plays crap. So dude be patient.

Animation and physics dosnt look to good atm. It seems "disconnected" some how. Exactly like AOC beta ( which after all ended up better). Lifting and throwing cars for example needs a graphic overhaul otherwise it simply wont add to the game and should be scrapped imo. Sounds cool on paper, but looks like if someone drawed a car-thing on top on a dude doing fitness or something. Looks fake.

i've watched around 8 to 10 vids showing DC universe onlines game play, one thing that i've seen in all the videos is that all the heroes have super strength. i swear to god i hope thats not the case, but even in this vid that little girl hero, can fly, shoot light bolts and can lift cars over her head like superman... whats the sense of everyone having super strength

I was so dissapointed when I found out this was another one of those games where you make your own character rather than take on the role of the super heroes. Ghost Busters did the same stupid thing. When we think DC Universe, usually we think of being the REAL characters in the DC Universe. If I wanted to create characters, I'll go buy kid pix for 5.00.

I think this game is more based on choosing to be a villain or hero, and in which universe you start, and the difference in storylines.

So I doubt it will be customisable like in champions online.

hard to say, people on the PS3 are really bumming right now for a good mmorpg type of game or a rpg rather. This game comes somewhat close and be sure since there is no dumb subscription fee for playing onine with the PS3, the PS3 community is going to jump right on this game. there will be a lot of people playing this on the PS3 I believe.

It will be nice if there's cross-platform servers, since I do not own, nor do I intend to own a PS3, but this game is shaping up to be a much nicer console game than Champions at the moment, but only time will tell.

So I'll be playing on my PC, but I know not a lot of people like PC play or have nice computers, but you know, cross-platform would be lovely.

In-game teamspeak would be nice as well.
