If they changed the teaching system to that, everyone would learn and get good grades and also find their passion to progress into a career. But then who would do all the boring low payed jobs!?
I don't think they would allow us to choose the subjects we want and to be taught in that way. They need slaves, oh sorry, I meant workers.
Check out 'The Venus Project' to see what society we could live in!
This is amazing. I'm still at high school and it's very true that we can't learn about things we aren't emotionally attached to. I've always felt that the education system was very flawed. I'm so excited to see where this goes; I think it can make a huge impact!
Can you make a translation of this to spanish? I'm willing to help translating it if necesary. Or can you give it under a non commercial, attributive licence that allows derivative work (for which I'm not willing to pay for)? So I do the work myself without fear of copyright.
Love it!! It's so important that we keep the thrill of learning alive in our children... You would think by now, with so much information available, that the education system would 'get it' ...sadly they don't for the most part so I LOVE when I come across videos like this, thank you!!
I "stumbled upon" your video and website a few days ago. I have since shared it with several co-workers and professors. I teach preschool, As well as attend college. I love the simplicity behind this idea! Keep up the good work!
This makes me smile. Thanks for putting this together. When I dropped out of college after wanting to be a Computer Eng (or shall I say after a lot of other people convinced me I wanted to be a computer engineer) I had no idea what the hell I wanted to do. I ended up at a baseball diamond and was talking to my friend about her son and how he couldn't read. So with 12 kids-26 baseballs then 7000 baseballs I helped take kids from not liking reading to writing their 1st book. Learn through passion!
This is so true!
