believe it or not these guys used this song as the first song to i think every concert and the reason that its short is because they played this song as a sound check. the reason there sound check never failed is because the band had a guy that went on tour with them and tuned them up and everything before the show ever started. i believe this is a fact but i could be wrong :)

Man, this is without a doubt the most underrated American rock band of all time..

in 77 to 84 they were gods, but they got weird and made a bunch of really bad records, I think it was Nielson's ego..too bad, live it was like the Beatles playing really hard rock to metal, they were untouchable..and yes, having been in hundreds of bands, this is the best opening song of all time..wow, first three records ruled, thanks guys..

@apothacaryxx It's short because it's their 'opener'....It was written by Rick Nielsen because in the early days Cheap Trick opened for so many bands they never got a proper soundcheck...if you notice the guitars come in then the drums then the bass and lastl the vocals. Perfect for the soundguy to grab the levels and 'dial them in'
