@Burnz2much Game is very good I enjoy it....even it has small playerbase its best MMO I have ever seen.....I dont like elfs dwarfs etc this is real Fantasy :) What isnt good at the moment is pvp for newcomers but FC is consediring some steps in future to edit this problem...

not quite qcxtreme, in WoW you paid a lot for nothing... WoW was mostly chat based and point n' click, with very little variables or AI or changes in environment. Nor detail within graphics or motion capture... i.e. I mean there was very little variables in WoW, you basically paid for air and a bit of game... Age of Conan has so many variables that costing the same monthly as WoW would prove once and for all that WoW really scammed people :D

Warhammer online... i was tempted to get it over age of conan than i watched a youtube video about the pvp... and they said one thing that made me think "no... not again"

they said "two players in almost equal gear the more skilled player will win"

AoC is based almost entirely on skill as its producers and developers claim

If you really want skill only then you are looking for a game that has almost nothing to do with advancement, you want nothing to do with levels. It is hard to please everyone. Part of RPG expperiances is the level up, get crazy good gear. Chances are crazyer looking gear.

I am with you on the "skill before gear" thing only with that aspect one would have to get rid of the rpg element so that the equipment advancement is almost nonexistant and tweak the skills advancement to a minimum or take it out completely

Personally i want AOC more than my foot but it seems if you want a game completely based on skill dont do mmorpgs. stick to single player rpgs. get into fighting games. or wait for DARKFALL since that game looks extreme in the whole "skill" factor(no levels)(no limits on use of weapons or spells). But imma AOC fan

hey dude I totally agree.. I got hooked on WoW once and I was like "shit gotta get to lvl 70" I spent 2 weeks doing f**k all 'cept for WoW and eating dinner (as fast as possible) I baught a damn guide.. one of the best and only got to lvl 42, one of my best friends (a lvl 70) then told me how shit it really was.. get to lvl 70 then f**k all to do, yeah sure get some epic gear then what.. nothing WoW is a really weak game, AoC is going to be like the perfect game

Instead of going PvE to get the best gear you could go PvP and try to become the best of your battlegroup :P

PvP in WoW?.. :P .. that was just endless BGs 'coz u might aswell go PvE to get higher lvl to get into the other BGs.. WoW sucked at PvP coz u had to do loads of of PvE (which gets really boring) just to be any good at PvP

exactly KSen, and that is the point... Age of Conan is as far from the grind as possible, nothing is predictable as everything is changing... based on the NPC's and players choices, yes, the NPC's choices count too... and unlike weak games like WoW, NPC's DO make their own choices... read about it, groundbreaking AI technology.

So is there going to be cross-play between Xbox 360 and PC? If there isn't, then I think that's the one and only minus in this game of plus'. I'm actually glad now that they changed the release date so they have more time to work on it. I mean, making your own guild building? Protecting them? Attacking other guilds? Full character customization? If I find out ONE more thing about this game that's awesome, I'm going to get a hart-attack. AW! Then I couldn't play the game, damn!

Re: Drvol1, lol the real reason WoW is so popular is because of nostalgia based on the original Warcraft... and being so safe and cuddly, not challenging in any way... you get a lot of suckers when you do that :D
