  • wow how'd I post 3 times. Well I just finished using the powder on my face. Mixed it till it was pasty enough, painted it on with a shaving brush, ten minutes later this stuff killed every hair i had. Couldn't be happier. Use the powder, it's stronger than the tube stuff. Wish I discovered this years ago back in 2007, hope this helps anyone struggling as I did. It works.

  • my mom's the same way brutha

  • my mom's the same way brutha

  • How do you have dreads and your a fireman

  • Thanks got a date and don't want this on my dam face

  • I used to wet shave, I got a hell of a lot of razor bumps. I used magic shave and it burned my skin like hell. Now I use wahl beard trimmer, it shaves close and I don't get bumps anymore. It's a miracle, spent like the last 5 years fighting razor bumps. Even had to go to the doctor and get perscriped some pills, even those didn't work.

  • Moms got too real with u lol

  • Thank you for this video brother...I will have to check this product our for myself

  • @RandomDirections....try using the sensitive skin formula and if all the hair doesn't come of use the reg formula but dnt leave it on as long and for burning Magic shave after shave lotion works pretty well or you can use Aloe or vitamin A&D ointment they all worked for me.....keep me posted on your results

  • I am mixed race...

I am black enough to get ingrown hairs when I shave

    and

I am white enough for this shit to burn my skin :(

I tried it and now my face is full of red patches

    fml

  • @RandomDirectors @RandomDirections....try using the sensitive skin formula and if all the hair doesn't come of use the reg formula but dnt leave it on as long and for burning Magic shave after shave lotion works pretty well or you can use Aloe or vitamin A&D ointment they all worked for me.....keep me posted on your results

  • @RandomDirectors i HAD the same problem as you.. mixed haitian and spaniard.. i use the powder form of the MAGIC product and make the mixture just a little more watery than its supposed to but it stopped the patchiness.. also, you may want to leave it on for 3-5 minutes instead of 5-7 and make sure you rinse off asap with water only. everyone is different but try and see what happens

  • @RandomDirectors lmao I'm mixed and it did the same thing to me. Had me looking like freddy krueger for 3 weeks.

  • Hey Lamaj1234,

How did you like the Ti Razor? Did it meet all of your expectations? For the month of April, I'm offering two Ti Razors for the price of one.

  • @BlackTiCosmetics I works great i will let you know soon about purchasing some

  • @lamaj1234 Great! Would you be willing to do a tutorial video?

  • @HarajukuKen69 I buy it at Walgreens or CVS also u can go to a store that black products....make sure u follow the instructions on my video oh and the Magic shave aftershave lotions helps...let me know how it goes

  • I really wanna try this, I got the under the chin razor bumps on my neck & I hate to lift my head b/c it makes them more visable, so I'd love a good product that really works, that bump fighter ish hasn't done the trick. I read that magic shave leaves big holes on your skin, but you've been using it for 10 yrs and I dont see big holes on your face, i want to try the cream opposed to the powder, where can I find it??

  • I noticed that you, like many others, are still using a butter knife to remove the Magic Shave from your face. I have a YouTube video demonstration of shaving with the Ti Razor, which I designed to remove Magic Shave powder. I would be happy to send a free Ti Razor to you if you provide a shipping address. I am so confident that The Ti Razor will work with Magic Shave, that I will send the first 100 people who message me a free Ti Razor (shipping not included)

    Looking forward to your reply.

  • ahahaha......i LOVE the bloopers

  • wow ur mom is nutz

  • LOL nice little piece at the end!!!

  • @brocklanders1984 lol thanks

  • how much water should you add to the powder. My mixture I tried to use today was really watery. I used two spoonfuls of powder and a few drops of water. How much powder do you use? Maybe I used to much powder? This is my first tim using this product too.

  • @kkrommer just add it little by little till its like took paste and you have to stir it as u go.... or just buy the premixed version

  • I am very hairy. I mean, I really look like a brown bear. Smaller and weaker. Which one would you recommend for me?

  • @cassiavc the regular might be better for you but with a lot of hair you have to lay it on kind of thick

  • DON'T EVER USE THAT CRAP. I remember burning after using that bull. Just use trimmers. The burn is just, ah...

  • @visionimagify it depends on how long you leave it on and if u do burn just apply vitamin E or aloe

  • Thanks for the video. The instructions on the tin made it come out watery, not pasty. Now I know better!

  • @Bieeanda thanks no problem

  • @Cektex directly on that why it is premixed

  • Lmao.... mom was about to wax that ass on video!!

  • @MrReel23 thats what she does best lol

  • i get razor bumps really bad under my neck so im gonna try this but what if you have like a chinstrap beard and you want to keep it do i just go around it?

  • @eagleslakerfan4life yep.....thats what i do when ever i can grow my goat-tee

  • i love this video ...thats just like my mom alldayyy!!! hahahahahahahaaaa

  • I use the magic shave in the can cause the premixed one in the tube will irritate the fuck out of your skin. If you use the one in the can, make sure not to aadd too much water cause it will burn your skin like the one in the tube does.

  • @THUGGINBUNDLES plus there is a magic shave after shave lotion.....

  • 2 the guys that are having problems with remaining hair after taking it off, just make sure you apply it thick and leave it on 7-10 mins. It should feel still moist against your skin but if you touch it with your hands it will be hard and probably flaking off if you move your neck. If you apply it too thin, it will burn- I assure you. But this stuff is great, I have been using it for about 5 years now.

  • @colincongo yea.....if it is flaky it needs more water

  • LMAO! Momma was gon kick dat ass

  • how long does it take to remove hair?

  • @htothemtotheh i leave it for like 12 min for a sure clean shave but it all depends on how long your skin can tolerate it i have gone 20 mins with very little burning

  • What's the best way to remove? Ive put it on right but after i remove i still have hair oh my face. I just dosent work right for me when I try to remove.

  • @deandrelwsn11 that why you have to use some kind of spatchula or spoon or even like those wooden ice cream sticks

  • can you use magi shave on your head instead of using a razor.(if your bald)

  • @YungAnarchy yes sir try the brown tube....

  • i just bought this product.. and im african american male.. 16 years of age.. light skined.. and i do not know if i didnt put enough water in the powder or what but when i put it on my face it dried so quickly and it burned.. my skin is very sensitive and irritates very quickly.. it was painful.. lol

  • i forgot to mention that i'm using the one for sensetive skin

  • i've been using magic shave for a couple of weeks now and have far less bumps. Hoever it irritates my skin every time i apply it and this stays on for a couple of hours. Other than that its a great product.

  • Thats it man Im getting some of that shit tomorow, thanks for the vid

  • This product is sold just about anywhere, Target, Walgreens or Safeway. I hope my post helps anyone having similar issues or concerns

  • The instruction on powder recommends 6-7 minutes. I left the cream on for 9 minutes and then used the back edge of a letterman knife to remove the magic shave. You can immediately feel how smooth the areas of the face are. Then I apply any Neutrogena sensitive facial soap on my face and remove with a warm towel. I then apply Neutrogena (razor defense) Post Shave Lotion.

  • I know if you read the directions on the cream and or powder, it strongly recommends that you do not shave prior to using the product or use soap after using the magic shave product. I have utilized this method for many years and no longer have to worry about those hideous razor bumps. First I used Andis T-liners to remove all the facial hair from my face. I then apply cream (recently mixed the powder) on my face with a spatula.

  • She was very nice and helpful. Unfortunately discontinued the older version of the magic shave cream. She then suggested for me to try using the powder. I was skeptical because I have never used it before and I felt the cream would work better than mixing the powder form. I tried the powder and followed instructions from the above video and have to say it worked better for me than my previous magic shave creams and my face felt smooth for almost 2 days.

  • I want to thank lamaj for posting this video. I have used Carlson's magic shave cream for many years and love the results. Unfortunately they have come out with a newer version of the cream and it does not remove all the hair as before and does not leave my face smooth. I've tried all the latest creams and I was very disappointed. I contact Carslon directly and spoke to a representative from there company and voiced my concerns.

  • i get lots of bumps when i use magic shave ... man i wish it worked... 'cause i definitely can't use razors either.

  • I use the black man's razor. I used to use magic shave in college, but once I graduated and started working...it took too damned long to shave. So, a friend told me about the bump fighter razor and I've been with that for over 10 years.

  • @grethomory i know what you mean big dog for ex on my job as a firefighter i have to be clean shaven to with magic and the time issue i shave the night before lol cuz i can go on runs that usually come in without any warning, with magic shave on my face lol ......i tried that razor but didnt work on me i still got bumps...

  • I have super coarse/thick hair. I followed the instructions and barely hair was removed..I then left it on FAR longer and only part of the hair was removed.

Do you know of anything stronger that wont break out my face?

  • DAMN dude I thought my MAMA was bad.

  • I'm gonna try magic for the first time. I like shaving with a razor and all and if I use the "condition beard and shave after shower" method I don't get bumps but I'm tired of having to buy disposable razors and its a hassle sometimes. So i'm gonna go a head and check this out.

  • yep , i love my mama to :P

  • do u use anything between shaves

  • hi!, I'm black and living in Sweden, and I have the same type of problems that you had before you started using this product

Since I have ingrowing facial hair, I'm just wondering if magic shave prevent the hair from growing into the skin, like it usually does after a couple of days after shaving?

  • lol @ the end. Imma try this out. nothing else has worked so far for me...

  • Yea dude i been using this product for bout 10 years. I used to have razor bumps real bad, but magic shave took care of it. You will noticed that diffterence if you have bumps, after the first week or two of using it....if u got anymore questions man hit me up....catch u later bra...and yea my moms a trip

  • Let me know how Magic Shave works for you
