  • You look like Mama Cass.....hope that doesn't offend u :)

  • u have a half full supersize soda in front of u in the video,??? are youy crAZy??? and dont tell me is diet coke, cuz you have been drinkin diet coke your whole life and you look like a whale.....get off the soda!!!!

  • eat to live, not live to eat!

  • For years I have been falling into the trap of eating convenience foods rather than cooking. When I slow down and cook, that echoes into other areas of my life--In addition, I end up cooking good, healthy, balanced meals.

  • @discountninjuh

    Your just a troll. GTFO.

  • me too now when I refrain from food my body go threw withdrawl because of thre sugar. I am cutting back and adding exercise.

  • why do you keep advertising your books on everyone of your videos!!!! Seriously...

  • Joan you are such an inspiration!, keep up the great work! :)

  • I do my videos at my cousin's house. They are not my sodas. They are hers or her husband's. I do drink diet soda sometimes though.......is that ok with you? The judgmental leading the ignorant & intolerant. You should read my book......you might learn something. GOd Bless!

  • well I can sooooo relate and I think this was a great video. Thanks for shareing :)

  • Thanks, glad I could help! Self Love, Peace & Joy!

  • Thank you so much i think now i can eat less you have just changed how i think about food :)

  • We have to change our thought patterns. That is one of the many pieces of the puzzle. Glad I could help! God Bless!

  • Great video Joan, I agree it is not about any type of diet program it is how we view food--food is fuel!!!!! We have to always be conscious of what we eat and realize that it is a lifestyle change, no just another diet as diets start and stop although a lifestyle change is forever.

You are doing fantastic!!!! Keep up the great work and thank you for the inspiration!!!!

    God Bless, Mary

  • You are welcome. Sorry it took so long to reply. I have been busy. I miss you tube. It is all about how we view food and what it should do for us. You are wonderful! Thanks for the support! God Bless!

  • That is a great description of how I feel too! Those products just slow me down so much, and now I have lived life without them for awhile and I do not want to go back to the old way! Thanks for watching and commenting! Love You! God Bless!

  • When I eat wheaty type products, whether pasta or muesli, etc, I often feel sick, bloated, chronic indigestion, heavy, slow and my joints hurt. So now all I eat is meat and veg.

  • Hey, Joan.

I absolutely agree with you, but I can't really relate.

Hope you're still doing well, though.

  • Hey!!! It is ok that you cannot relate.......I still love you....LOL! I am doing very well overall! I am glad you had a good trip and are home safe and sound. Keep watching and sending me the love! Talk to you soon! Self Love, Peace & Joy!

  • Hi Joan. Ive had the same experience. Ate well for a couple of weeks then started eating Butter Pecan Ice Cream (mindlessly) and felt horrible in my body. You are so right! We must take the time to listen to our body. Thank you for making this video.

Oh, and by the way you are looking good girl! Peace and blessings.

  • Thanks lady! You are looking great yourself!! I am amazed at how little I eat now and how quickly I get full. I cannot handle that over full feeling any longer and I cannot believe that I lived most of my life feeling that way.........GOd is Good! We can do this together!! Love You!

  • I wasn't an "over eater". I would eat 1 meal a day. I was eating unhealthy fatty foods. And not exercising at all. Once I started eating through out the day to "reprogram" myself and eating healthy foods as well including a lot of raw foods, my obstacle was soda. I tried diet, but that week I gained 2 lbs, so I had to fight the addiction and give it up. I don't know why soda made me eat unhealthy. It may not be everyone's problem but I am glad I figured out it was mine.

  • That is the key......finding out what does and does not work for you. Only you know you. It is a trial & error process and takes time. I am glad you figured out your triggers! Keep up the great work! God Bless! Self Love, Peace & Joy!

  • oh I love that analogy of the oil. wow! I can identify with everything you're saying. Today, my sincere diet began (yeah yeah, I know it's not suppose to be a diet) and at 11:30pm I'm getting kind of hungry, but that's because I'm so use to feeding my body fast foods late at night. I've got to find a new normal. really good thoughts and info. thanks

  • At night when we think we are hungry, it is really a signal from our bodies that they are ready for sleep. We do not give ourselves enough rest, especially if we are on the larger side. We tire more quickly and we need the proper amount of rest to keep our bodies functioning well. Don't think of it as a diet. Think of it as finally taking care of yourself.....mind, spirit AND body......as God intended. Love You! Keep us posted!

  • i can so relate to everything you're saying! those foods make me feel like crap but, when i start to eat them, i cannot stop! great vid!

  • To me it is a combination of the types of food and the volume or amount I was eating. My body is much happier with whole, natural, fruits, veggies and proteins in moderate quantities. I have sooo much more energy and I DO NOT eat when I am emotional. I did that for too long. It does not hurt me to be hungry for awhile until my emotions are under control. Thanks for watching! God Bless!
