  • There are 26 Palestinians

  • @GoCardinal2012

    PALESTINE IS ISRAEL !!!

    GOOD DAY

  • I dont understand a thing of what they are saying, but if this music is epic in the original version, the Hebrew version exceeds epic

  • 26 people worship satan >.>

  • It is like it wouldn't matter that in wich language are listening this song, you can just feel the meaning of the words.

  • Oh, this is so cool.

  • My favorite part is 've'im tim'che'u eize hof miv'ta'him'

  • The mother sounds more powerful and into her feelings with this song unlike the American voice actor thats why i like this version better

  • @TheHinoko Actually Im pretty Ofra Haza (spelling) does both versions. I think the extra power is just because its her native language. Still, very beautiful

  • @XxXwhyshouldicareXxX "Ofra Haza, who voiced Yocheved, sang the opening song "Deliver Us" in 17 of the 28 languages in which the film was released, among them her native Hebrew language." Including Finnish with perfect accent, she truly was multi-talented.

  • but it was originally in english that's what I said so.....

  • NOW THIS MAKES MORE SINCE IN HEBREW

  • i think it has a stronger effect in hebrew even though i don't understand it lol

  • אני אוהב את השיר הזה

  • AMAZING~

  • i know how beautiful it is and i know because my mom is hebrew

  • @xxaddicted2mwaxx

Sorry, but that has nothing to do with understanding this.

It's about impossible to understand for anyone that didn't live back then or has lived in a similiar situation.

  • @Checkeredwristbands Look, I've never been a slave or had my child's life threatened, but I'm a human being. I have imagination, and empathy, and a pretty well-filled library. My understanding of the Exodus story, while it can never be bone-deep, is hardly impossible. And if you don't have the credentials to talk about something unless it's happened to you, personally, good luck tackling illiteracy.

Anyway, I'm pretty sure he just meant he spoke Hebrew.

  • Disney needs to go back to making movies like this.

  • יפה

  • I used to be a prince of egypt, then I took an arrow in the knee

  • @Superrichy261985 pffft thash funny... king tut, right?

  • do you have a copy of the lyrics?

  • I always cry when I watch this movie in hebrew. But then again what can you expect when it's Ofra Haza singing... Madhim, pashut madhim. en li milim.

  • OMG WHAT A GOOSEBUMPS. 2:27-2:52

  • @keiweak personaly i dont find that funny!

  • WHAT HEARTLESS PERSON WOULD DISLIKE THIS!!!!!!!????????!

  • @sailorscoobygirl04 HOW COULD YOU LIKE THIS WHEN SO MANY PEOPLE ARE HURT AND ENSLAVED???

  • @sood543210 WHAT THE FUCK I'M TALKING ABOUT THE FUCKING SONG ASS!!!!!!!!SOOO WHY DONT YOU LEAVE ME THE HELL ALONE??????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @sailorscoobygirl04 You have no idea what the song means in Hebrew. The English version dosen't explain properly

  • @sood543210 you mean the hebrew version does't explain properly, this movie was originally made in english...........so was this song

  • @megasuperawesomefail "English" lacks alot of words and meanings that many other languages have, there are single words in other languages that take an entire "english" sentence to to properly explain, if even then

  • @megasuperawesomefail The hebrew version is thousands of years old. The story is translated to other languages from there. So, in Hebrew, making this film version - is going back to the original source.

  • @sailorscoobygirl04 Justin Bieber fans

  • @IDF1987 .......

  • @sailorscoobygirl04 he sucks

  • @sailorscoobygirl04 nazis and terrorists

  • @sailorscoobygirl04 an egyptian? nah jkjk much love to them too lol

  • French and hebrew version are the best

  • 240p, we meet again..

  • Hebrew and French are sincerely the best !

  • tears tears tears.....i'm such a pisces...

  • My favourite version are: italian and Hebrew!

  • Where can I download hebrew version?

  • I decided I would watch this without thinking of politics, morality or religion and just admire this beautiful song for the amazing work and the beauty of the singing :) I used to love this movie as a child! <3 "Deliver-Us" is amazing, and it being in this particular language makes it all the more special. It's like watching "Anastasia" in Russian or "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" in French, tis' epicness.

  • Ohhh ... no words :o

  • Proud to be a Jew :)

  • so beautiful (:

  • i was always wondering why mother of Moses has some strange accent in my native Polish version. I fought that's Ukrainian when i was 5/6 years old. That was my favourite film of my childhood. :)

    Hebrew version is magic.

  • @Najczu

I heard the Israeli singer Ofra Haza did not only sing the Hebrew version, but she did it in 28 languages. So probably the Polish version is done by her as well. The Dutch version always sounded a bit strange to me, but it turned out to be the same Israeli singer. Really amazing how she did that, singing in 28 languages.

  • @R1S9S9R1 She sang in 17 of the 28 languages in which the film was released, among them her native Hebrew language.

  • Hebrew is really a beautiful language. It would be fascinating to learn.

  • @StrangeEmily88

hebrew its a very simple launguage, even more that english

  • @yelowangel12 Really? Cool.

  • beautiful.....

  • Hebrew is the most beautiful language. Gosh, how I'd love to learn it. Gives me serious goosebumps.

  • אורכו של זייפנים גילך ההיסטוריה היום הוא קרוב מאוד

  • Hebrew fits the theme of this movie more, because.. well.. their Hebrew.. but I can't help but feel Ofra and Eden sang better than the actress for Jochebed and Miriam

  • why don't we have amazing, classical, goodlike creative, and realistic movies like this? this and lion king are a few of my personal favs from when i was a kid...but no more.

  • kids who at least grew up in the 90s (Preferably anytime between 1990 and 1994)- Experienced godhood animated movies (lion king, beauty and the beast, this, Aladdin, etc)

  • @roboguy75 Well, new kids have Narnia(:

  • Hebrew version is realy good

    it's holy.

  • wow.. i grew up listening to the portugues version... but this version makes more sense, even though i dont know a single hebrew word. it just seems more real!

  • I´m from germany.and this version is better. oh gott i could cry

  • Comment removed

  • i think a guy voiced the daughter

  • Moses "real" mother sounds so awesome in the hebrew version. a perfect fit i would like to say.

  • this verson is so much better...

  • I have always grew up with the swedish verision in movies and like the swedish best, but this feel more real.. I dont know if it is hebrew they speak in the movies country, but it feels so matching.. :P

  • @SpiderSandra You are right. Hebrew is the original language of the Israelites who the movie is about :)

  • @WhoHungTheStars This movie is not about Israelites. It is about Hebrews. Israel did not exist until after WWII. The words "Israelite" and "Hebrew" are NOT synonyms. History lesson, please.

  • @jrizzo86 Oh no, he means "Israelites" as in the Hebrew sons of Jacob (aka Israel). You must be getting mixed up with "Israelis" :)

  • @jrizzo86 oh sorry, Jacob was called Israel, and one of his sons was Joseph, which is the reason why the Hebrew people were in Egypt. That's why they were called 'Israelites', like @xplinux22 said. That's what I was meaning :)

  • I really agree with you If we had more Biblical stories like this then more little children will understand our saviour

  • Ofra Haza's voice truly made these song great. She actually sounds like an Angel singing. I don't think there is any other female singer alive or passed who I would say that about, but her.

  • אין על עפרה היא מדהימהההההההההההההה !!

  • What a beautiful voice

  • @ynonbo The Sephardi and Ashkenazi Jews have nothing to do with the Biblical ones either..

  • @AthrihosPithekos arnt they descendants of the hebrews though ?

  • @cranky626 They are, but distantly. They are much closer to Mizrachi Jews, though (from Iraq, Iran, Yemen, etc).

  • I can't watch this without crying.. maybe it's the fact that I am pregnant and can imagine how hard it must be to say goodbye to your own baby son the way she did. And all the babies who got killed, awrgh it's unbearable

  • i wish dreamworks would go back to making 2d movies like those

  • @D100J Me too

  • @D100J i know! why do they have to make it 3d and make it hideous. If i wanted to watch somethign in 3d i wouldn't be watching cartoons!

  • @twiggyjali I completely agree. I've seen the movie several times and it still hasn't gotten old.

  • 3:35 One of the most beautiful moments ever captured on film made even more beautiful. It's so powerful that it brings a tear to my eye.

  • @CharliePsychoDog I cry every time I watch this scene. It never gets old or moves me less.

  • i watched this movie about when i was 6 but when i watched recently i have respect for the movie now

  • 21 people are atheist

  • @m0lyvalo im a nonbeliever but i liked the song. made me cry with emotion

  • @Redjoker96 Agreed, I don't believe in God, but I enjoy the song for the song not the religion behind it. :)

  • Oh and Ofra Haza is the most Beautifull Woman ive ever seen

  • This Movie was really breath taking this movie Will allways be in my mind Forever

    I Will never forget it!!!

  • הקול של עפרה עושה צמרמורת !

  • עופרה הייתה ותישארר הזמרת הגדולהה ביותרר של דורנו... ofra was and will stay the gratest singer of our jenarition

  • Much stronger and more beautiful in Hebrew, love the womans voice!

  • @clowicous the woman voice is ofra hazan...

  • @clowicous i think it's haza ofra!

  • @clowicous It's the same woman in all languages... She was the amazing Ofra Haza (may she rest in peace)

  • @clowicous i prefer it i hebrew too for some reason

  • @SwIfTyRoXMySoXIeS I would think it has to do with Hebrew beeing the moste relevant language for this movie. But yeah it sounds good.

  • @SwIfTyRoXMySoXIeS I would think it has to do with Hebrew being the language most relevant to this movie.

  • Hi im sorry i dont know if this is too personal? but do you know hebrew?

  • This is very good version :)) Ofra Haza is best singer

  • So beautiful. I was about to fall asleep.:3

Ofra Haza was just a pure angle with a perfect voice...r.i.p

  • And of course, Ofra Haza is amazing, she just makes you tear up.

  • thet movie just showing the pain thet the jews sufferd in all times in egypt and after in nazi germany

  • i prefer the English version.......only because its the version I grew up listening to, and I can understand the language. That aside, Hebrew suits this song better than English.

  • @Metalhead15712 yeah but it's the same singer in hebrew and in english - Ofra Haza :):):)

  • @Metalhead15712 I must agree, Hebrew does fit this song better

  • How come songs always sound better in the native tougne

  • @charsin135 not that hard to figer

  • Every time you watch a movie, you see things you didn't before. I just saw the man push the lady aside and step inside to kill her child and felt I wanted to cry...

  • @TMSVioloncellist I know! When he raises the khepesh and you can see the glinting blade, I can't help but picture what it was like after the soldiers had left. When the woman steps back inside, the village suddenly still and quiet, with the bloodstained cradle and the woman who had just lost her son...

  • I was only 12 years old when I first watched this movie in theaters. Currently age 24 and I must say that it felt like I never left my first year in junior high at all.

By the way, I'm surprised and amazed the voice of Yocheved (Ofra Haza) provided the singing in both the English version and in full Hebrew here. In short, she was involved in both the original and the redub. Not bad!

  • @twist58 Ofra Haza did the voice in 17 languages!! Amazing singer :D

  • this song is truly epic, and not in an annoying 21st century way

  • It's nice, but I actually preferred the English version.

  • This is so awesome. I wish we'd get more incredible Biblical movies. I guess I can keep dreaming, though... :'(

  • @GeekingForJesus I know right? I know exactly how you feel. :c

  • @GeekingForJesus Here's very promising one new movie about Daniel: youtu.be *slash* aJ5z4VCmSWc

  • @peteliuz79 Thanks for the link. Looks like I can play Skyrim and watch that movie in the same day :D

  • @GeekingForJesus There is Joseph King of dreams, if you haven't seen that. It's also done by dreamworks

  • I like this!!! :) ...where can I get the hebrew lyrics of this?? tell me!! tell me!!!!

  • I like it!! :)

  • ofra nizkor otah la netsah

    ohavim ve mitgageim

    kol haivrim

  • beautiful language

  • The lullaby is so...........much better in hebrew!

  • I wanna learn Hebrew just so I can sing this song :D

  • omg on the lullaby i almost cried

  • Ofra Haza sings also in other languages, even though she doesn't know the languages try listening the finnish version you'll hear it's the same woman.

  • was it true that the Egyptians used Jews for slaves?

  • @Herb615 whatever your religious affiliation, yes, there is some substantial proof that the egyptians used the hebrews as slaves to build the pyramids, the temples, and all of the other egyptian buildings. it is accepted in modern history that they were enslaved.

  • @Herb615 I commented on this here before, but yes, Jews were never slaves. Theres a lot of theories as to what happened but theres literally nothing to indicate they were slaves. They were masons and architects, who had one of the highest statuses achievable by non-royals. Though theres actually a theory the jews were the hyskos and did rule for a time. I'm jewish and I don't like how some jews joke about jesus being magic but really think mosses parted the red sea. Its all fairy tales.

  • @martydrooo youre right. i couldnt almost believe it when i found out myself.
