  • I Love You Yayo! <3333 I'm High On You Boo :P I Can't Wait To Marry You On New Years Eve 2011 <3

  • Jimi has such a meaty voice and can hit high notes with such a masculine tone and not go into falsetto.....this is not easy to do for a lot of high singers. No wonder why he is in the top 10 of best male vocalists!

  • MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARSSSSSSSSSS pederi

  • I'm still flip floppin over that song, it's beautiful******* ;-D

  • Saw them in concert back in the 80's. I think Jamison was the best singer also. His voice was great that night. Great show.

  • I surprised by Jimi's country accent. He doesn't look like a cowboy but he is.

  • @hz11287 do they have cowboys in Tenn. ?

  • This was the time when everything was great!

  • @ShredMetalRoman You said it!!! The best times

  • This was the time when music was great

  • Both singers are great... Some songs Dave sounds great and some songs Jimi sounds great but my opinion Jimi is my favorite.

  • @MultiMrDavis Your opinion is wrong. Dave is your favorite.

  • Truly an amazing voice. Saw these guys back in the 80's and loved them. This is when music was music.

  • I just saw Jamison in concert last Sunday.

  • SUCH COMPLETE INTOXICATION!!!!

  • jimi kinda looks like freddy mercury

  • @cbarrett34 eric bischoff wwf

  • Its funny. I havent heard these songs in 20 years. Yet I know ALL the lyrics word for word. I was bummed when a girlfriend broke up with me and my Survivor tape was in her car. I missed the tape more than her.

  • @VoodooPolitico ditto got all cds made by them

  • God he was blessed with some STRONG ass cords!I am a tenor my self, and I tell ya it would be a freaking strain on your pipes to able to pull off those high notes NIGHT AFTER NIGHT on the road man! Just absolutely one of the MOST phenominal voices to EVER grace 80'S bar none! But I think Steve Perry"s got him though

  • WTFNESS?!?!?!?! ... 5 people dislike this? They should be shot!!!

  • yea baby!!! eye of the tiger

  • Frank Sullivan ...

  • great song of the 80s

  • fantastic band and great vocal singer!

he is on top of the list with lou gramm foreigner singer.

  • Love IT!

  • great band of 80's

  • Was born in 90 but im a fan of the 80s music.. music these days are kinda corny. Go survivor!

  • great song, one of my favorite,

  • Jimi Jamison and Steve Perry rocked the 80's MAN I MISS THIS STUFF

MUSIC WAS REAL and meant something. . ahhhh a melody

  • @NEONAVALON I feel ya brother!

  • @NEONAVALON I find them both similar. Same inflections.....same quality of voice.

  • Jimi's voice reminds me of Baywatch

  • @CavemanJesus4Life Yeah! Jimi sung the main theme of Baywatch! :D

  • Frankie and Jimi's voices mesh really well together.

  • @GohModley

Definetly Bickler by a long shot!

But Jamisen had a good studio voice, and same with Bickler. They had there own atributes.

  • Simplemente hermosa cancion................

  • Bickler vs. Jamison

  • THIS WAS REALLY MUSIC, NOT THE NOISE NOWDAYS

  • B.E.A.U.T.I.F.U.L!!!!!!!!!

  • @PalScooter im 13 yrs old and fan!

  • how can you not like this music

  • A Terrific Band from Chicago.. Jim Peterik (The Keyboard Player) and Frankie Sullivan were a great song writing team. Peterik is still performing with is first band, "Ides of March" with whom he wrote and does lead vocals and Guitar on hits like "Vehicle" and L.A. Goodbye" He also co-wrote big hits for 38. Special including "Hold 0n Losely". When the Ides perform he does those hits from Survivor and 38 Special too, and does a very nice job.

  • @Farinadog13 Yeah, Jim and Frankie wrote magical songs together!

  • Wonderful band *___*

  • hahaha...when i first heard this song i thought it was about the university of ohio.

  • awesome song !!! Survivor still rocks!!!!

  • Man, can this guy sing! He sounds even better live than the studio version. This really isn't my type of music. But this has to be one of the best singers I have ever heard. And the songs by Survivor such as "High On You" and "The Search Is Over" and "I Can't hold Back" were so well written. Yeah, this singer is one in a million.

  • i love this song, classic one, thanks for uploading it whoever U r, BTW do you have live videos of The search is over & Ever since the world began? did they sing it in this concert?

  • this song blows

  • There is noone like Jimi Jamion.

  • @ 2:36 you can hear poor Jimi's voice is working over time! I had the great fortune of seeing them live in Seattle in '85 when they were promoting "Vital Signs"!

This was one of the most exciting concerts I've ever been to. They sound like their recording and Jimi is such a great vocalist, plus you can't take your eyes off him!!

  • @SharMess I would perform sinfull services to truck drivers in order to be at that concert! Must have been a great experience!

  • @kanemura93 It WAS one of the greatest concerts I had ever been to. I stood about 12 feet directly in front of the stage. The crowd was in love with them too. I sang along with their songs and knew ALL THE WORDS and was especially happy when Jimi & Frankie saw me singing with them!

They opened for REO Speedwagon, but I was only interested in Survivor!!!

The only other concerts that equaled in excitement for me were seeing the Beatles in '66 and Emerson Lake and Palmer in '72. :-)

  • @SharMess Wow that is awesome! Speaking of you, I can only quote Emerson, Lake and Palmer: "Oh what a lucky man he was"! :)

  • @kanemura93 ELP were excellent musicians and GOOD LOOKING! The music was like no other band. I saw them live twice, sat in the 2nd row of the orchestra pit the first time (up close - 1 row away from the center of the stage). I saw them the following year in '73 and was able to go backstage both times!!! Check them out on Youtube. Here is one of the links of them at the California Jam in '74 (my brother saw this show) w w w.y o u tu b e. co m /w a tc h ? v = U e Q s Z O Q q O 6 I

  • this is one of the songs I listen to on my IPod when I go out dirt riding across the calif desert !

  • does anyone know when and f they will be playing in buffalo ny anytime soon

  • only 2 originals left. The core of Jim Peterik and Jimi Jamison gone. Would be like seeing a tribute band

  • upbeat, happy, meaningfull music...thanks, i needed that.

  • @stoneguy66 OH yeah !!

Makes you happy to listen to it.

I wish this is what i hear when I turn

on the radio.Music now is sooo

    depressing, isnt it??

  • master musicians

  • Thanks for the memories ! I discovered pop music on the radio in 1985 and this was my favorite song !

  • Survivors Search Is Over ZOO.....copy and paste this in Youtube....

  • they don't make music like they use to!!!!

  • Could not agree more, Survivor is so underrated. And when it comes to front men, can't find anyone better than Jimi, one of the most powerful voices ever.

  • @Jetlihenchman - Survivor wasn't underrated at all, Journey's Arnel Pineda has a more powerful voice.

  • Excellent !!

  • These guys were great live! I used to see them play in their early beginings in their home town River Grove Illinois! They used to rock a place called the "Thirsty Whale" Wow! How I miss that rock club! No where like it in the world! Its gone now, and its a stupid gas station! Survivor rocked!

  • handsome voice masculine!

  • 100% agree

  • @FlatulenceRocks999 100%Agree

  • Well, if YOU think that Jimi Jamison was Survivor's best singer, I know he was!

  • Tempo is just a tad slow on this version....drummer's fault, he should have felt it....but they are a great performing band. Sound is fantastic.
