god he still has it even at this age those are truly blessed hands and what a knowledge of tabla he is using this solo...the variations of kaidas that he is playing are amazing
why r so many micro phones put on one pair of the tabla. it makes the sound unstable. as all the channels r trigering at different frequencies. may be thats the reason why we'r hearing so much of high frequencies.

Pandit Sharda Sahai is one of the undisputed legendary pillars of modern tabla. Why and how can someone say such a strange statement as you utter here? Just open your heart and listen not with preconceived competitive opinions. We are so lucky to have this video.
I agree and support your statement for this video and many others where I have read uneducated comments from folks who have no awareness of music specifically Indian(north/south) Classical music. I wish they will make better use of their fingers by learning a musical instrument instead of typing random responses with their computer keyboard!!
